When we arrived the pool was closed down for an indefinite time and no discount was offered probably b/c I booked thru a different site however the breakfast was great for a weekday

Hi Robin, we're so sorry that the pool was down. Over the weekend we had a major part of the pool system break in our mechanical room and it drained over 1/3 of the pool. The repairs were more than what we could do on our own so we had to have an outside vendor come in, which took a few days. Please reach out to me if you are going to be in our area again and I will be happy to extend a 15% discount on your next stay.

It was okay. The check in went well. The office chair was broken. In the morning a guy in a uniform knocked on my door. I couldn't u nderstand what he was saying. I opened the door and still couldn't understand what he was saying. Then he said a different thing - that I didn't understand and he walked away.

Customer service was exceptional! The breakfast food selection could’ve been better. Everything else in the hotel is updated, that elevator carpet looks hideous.

Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable room, with well maintained facilities........only drawback is that the whirlpool hot tub is out of order. We will be staying here again in the future.

We believe we were put in a handicapped room. We should been in regular king bed room. The door swung out to hall with 2 peep holds. We kept bathroom door open so to cover them. Breakfast was nice. Loved oatmeal with toppings

This appears to be an older motel but my room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I didn't have time for breakfast so cannot comment on that. The staff was ok, not very conversational.

Another handicap-accessible room.
I have long been a Marriott guy. Fan of their hotels. But, it does appear that when I book through Hotels.com, there is a policy to give me the worst room possible. Almost always the handicap-accessible room. At least for this stay the front desk guy apologized and said they were full and it was the only room left. Still, it makes me leery of using Hotels.com and booking a Marriott property.

Hi James, I'm so sorry that you aren't a fan of the handicap-accessible rooms. We definitely don't put Hotels.com guests in handicapped rooms on purpose. As our associate told you, sometimes it really is the last room of that type we have left for check-in. If there is an option to put in reservation comments maybe try adding that you would prefer a non-accessible room. I appreciate you staying with us and we hope to see you again when your travels bring you back to Forsyth/Decatur.

The hotel had many great restaurant options and close to the mall for some walking and shopping. Unfortunately the room had garbage found left by that beds from previous tenants and no microwave or fridge for the rooms. Also sad the hot tub was in repair.
