holiday at palm estate
just to say that we all had the best time at palm estate. Hoist replied all our questions super fast and had one problems in contacting him. the property was prefect for 6 of us, move than enough room for all of us, pool super clean, great location, kitchen had enough tools and plates so that we could cook at home when needed, if we come back to Miami area again we would look at getting this property again. many thanks for the house. jason

Palm Estate was super clean. I didn't understand the check-in instructions and Davin answered right away and was very nice about giving me the instructions. We didn't use the pool as it was too cold. The listing did state dogs are allowed but didn't state that dogs weren't allowed in the pool, that was posted on a sign at the pool. I might not have booked it if I'd known the dog couldn't swim in the pool. The outside bathroom was a definite plus. The back yard was very nice. My only complaint about that is that the grill was charcoal rather than propane. It was also quite dirty. Since we were only there for a week, we didn't want to go out and buy charcoal. My biggest complaint about the week in Hallandale Beach was the traffic. The house was in a very nice quiet neighborhood but getting anywhere was a headache. Almost every intersection had at least 14 roads going in and out of it and locals didn't yield to us. Thank you Davin

After a delayed flight with an arrival at 1:30 am, it was so easy to grab the car and quickly get to the house to lie down before working early the next day. Very convenient to so many local place in Miami and Ft Lauderdale. House was very comfortable with a wonderful sitting area in the back. Host had super response time and the wifi was perfect for work to get accomplished. Would definately recommend and stay again.

Best one yet in Hallandale, FL
We’ve rented many houses through the years in this area. This is one of the best ones yet! It’s an older home that has been updated (very typical in south FL) with nice comforts including the beds, several towels for each bedroom/bathroom. In addition, the house was fully stocked with soap, paper products, cleaning products, trash bags, coffee, tea, laundry soap etc. It was super clean, which we really appreciated and didn’t see any bugs at all which was a huge plus. 11/10!

Property was exactly as described and pictured. Very clean and well stocked. It was helpful to have garage access since we had more than 2 cars. Easy access to highway and food stores, etc. Third bathroom is outside by pool, so can be hot in summer. Overall a great place to stay and Davin is a great host!

Rarely do I give a 5 star review. However the Palm Estates met all of my expectations; location, amenities and space. Location- it’s two minutes from I-95, 10 minutes to the beach. It was the perfect location, 20 minutes driving could get you to a lot of places. Amenities, the kitchen had all that you need, not much more, but enough to get the job done! The TV’s were amazing- I was worried about not having cable, but I was so overwhelmed with all of the options, I just watched the golf channel. Lastly, that pool and backyard were magic and much need for my reprieve. It was magical especially at night. I may never stay at a hotel again because of this place, awesome! Space- it was more than enough room for two people but I could easily see 6-8 people making it work. This was the ultimate experience. I have been using VRBO since 2010 and this was one of my favorite locations. The ultimate question is, would we go back: IN A HEARTBEAT! We loved it. Thank you so much DJ for a wonderful experience and great responsiveness.

Wonderful Property and Experience
We spent two weeks with 8 adults in this well appointed home. The listing is exactly what you will see in person. The home is in a safe neighbourhood. We drove about 20 minutes to the Hollywood Beach and Broadwalk each day. Any minor issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. A wonderful vacation home.

Perfect holiday vacation
We were staying there for a month. We had my elderly mother with us and our small dog and we felt safe and comfortable which is very important. It wasn’t far from beaches or restaurants and stores. The property was clean, spacious and in a quite neighbourhood . It was well equipped with all the conveniences of home in the kitchen and throughout the house even had a welcome basket which was a pleasant surprise and a nice touch. During the month there was someone there every week to maintain the cleanliness of the pool and they also had a gardener that maintained the exterior. Whenever we called the host he was always available and very serviable. One of the best vacation rentals we ever had.

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and I. My husband and his parents and I stayed for the weekend. Wish it could’ve been longer. Would gladly stay anytime under Kong Management. The only complaint is one of the upstairs bedroom bed is uncomfortable and barely have any outlets. That is literally the only complaint. The pool was great! Thank you for our home away from home.

Amazing stay
The house is beautiful and very spacious. We went to Florida for my niece’s birthday just immediate family, and there was so much room we didn’t feel cramped. The bathroom outside is perfect for after the pool so we didn’t wet inside. Our host was very helpful and let us stay a little later, when we found out our fight was cancelled.

While the property was wonderful and met my need.
While the property fit my needs. We were unable to check into the property for at least over an hour due to the company was having issues with their cleaning service and when they did call to let us know the property was ready,. They told me that they had left towels drying in the dryer but we would be compensated for our delay, however that was the last correspondence I had with the company. Very unhappy about this issue.

The home is staged well with nice appeal. It is a split style ranch with two bedrooms on one side of home and master on the other side, both having full bathrooms. A shower and bathroom is conveniently located off the pool area for comfort while swimming. Brand new appliances throughout the home including a washer and dryer. Many security cameras on/in the property excluding the bathrooms for safety and security. Everything was well thought out and designed.

The house is just as beautiful as the picture shows. Everything was nice, clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the neighbors were nice! I will stay there again if I travel that way again. The ONLY downside I had was the late message telling us when to check out. I feel like that should have been mentioned in the email with the check in information. Glad we didn’t sleep in on the last day because they charge a $300 late fee 😳

This house worked ok for us. It was small, but two bedrooms are upstairs and the master is on the first floor. This house is not wheelchair accessible. It is small, but we made it work. It was fairly well stocked with kitchen appliances. The pool is quite nice, and is caged so pretty safe. It is however quite deep except for a small shallow end so caution needs to be exercised with children. The management and the owner were very responsive and helpful. This house is managed by a management company and they were responsive as well. However, apparently VRBO allows management companies to deal with renters directly. If you do a fair amount of traveling with vacation home companies, this will seem to directly contradict everything that users are cautioned against doing. I ended up writing to them through vrbo even though they responded to me directly. We had some initial issues with the house and the owner, the site manager, and the management company were extremely responsive. On the minus side, the seating is very uncomfortable and it didn’t really work well for a long term stay, we were there for three weeks. There is a couch with a seemingly low back and that is it. There is a way to pull up the back of the couch so ultimately it was not as uncomfortable as we first thought, but we didn’t discover this until almost the end of our three weeks. The only other places to sit are backless stools. This made it very difficult to work from home which was part of the agenda for this three week stay. It was also hard to even just sit and watch tv or talk. There were some outside chairs, but they were not in the pool area and were not in the shade. We ended up borrowing lawn chairs so we had somewhere to sit near the pool. There were no instructions in the house, except for ubiquitous signs not to have a party. This sign was even on the front door, which did feel safe to us since it identified the house as a rental house. Also, we never did figure out how to watch network TV because there were no instructions. We received check out instructions after we left (which was 6 am and the instructions arrived at 8:15 am). This house is dog friendly and for a fee a dog is allowed. However, I would not recommend coming with a dog. The neighbors on one side have what sounds like a very vicious dog and every time we tried to sit outside with the dog, this neighboring dog would start clawing at the fence and we were very afraid that the dog would

House was clean & spacious with modern decor, loved that it had a pool. Had a little issue with some flying insects but the property owner took care of it right away! Was close to a lot of stores if you needed to get something for the house, but wish it was a little closer to SoBe (about 30 minutes away); overall the property was great, we really enjoyed our stay…would book again!

La casa es muy bonita y limpia como tal, pero la persona encargada de la renta realmente decepcionante!! El primer día que la rentamos nos levantaron temprano con una fumigación dentro de la propiedad he ingresaron a las habitaciones invadiendo la privacidad de nosotros como arrendatarios y hospedandonos de vacaciones. La persona muy poco amable y con una actitud muy desagradable al momento del check out. Sin la más mínima amabilidad o compresión. No volveríamos por el mal servicio, más no por la casa como tal.

I am so sorry that this happened and only wished you had let us know during your stay. This is the first we are hearing this. I will reach out to the pest control company to file a complaint as they are aware that the home is a vacation rental and we have frequent guests. We do have a note in the listing of the regular service days for lawn, pest control and pool maintenance (if applicable)

This place is exactly as advertised. The owner was very helpful and contacted me when he heard something was going wrong before I was even able to get to him. Had a great time. Neighborhood isn’t the greatest but you know that going in. Very close to Hallandale Beach (10-15 minute drive With traffic) which turned out to be a gorgeous beach. All in all, a great stay.

The pool was the bonus/ plus for us. My children really really enjoyed it. I enjoyed having all the pots/pans there for me to cook for my family. The beds were so comfortable.
