"What a beautiful and well maintained historic inn. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful with everything. A wonderful continental breakfast every morning. Located in a convenient central location in this beautiful and friendly town, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It was like stepping back to a simpler and friendlier place in time. Hated to leave after our three night stay."

"We were looking for something "in nature". This property did not disappoint. It was so peaceful, felt like a treehouse as when you are on the back balcony you are up in the trees. The walking paths were a little too rustic for my liking but was great for sister #3. She even took 3 chairs and a small table down the outdoor steps to one of the paths and made a cute breakfast spot to have our morning coffee in the woods. Super quiet at night, no issues at all. We didn't heed the warnings on the GPS instructions so we ended up down a bunch of secluded one lane dirt roads on the way, but heading home was a breeze. We heard if you do GOOGLE MAPS, they will only take you through main roads, none of those off road dirt roads, so take note! We headed to Berlin to do some shopping one of the days, was about a 30 min drive from the cabin. The hot tub was very relaxing! Great stay!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hideaway Cabin. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. It is VERY quiet and isolated. The owners home is not far away, but they are very courteous and ensure you have a peaceful stay. If you are looking to get away for a few days and just relax this is your place!"

"Hotel was very clean and staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. There are many places to eat within close proximity to the hotel. The rooms are a tad outdated but don't let that deter you from staying here."
