“Pleasant surprise- beautiful location.”

We decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Fredericksburg on a Saturday morning and booked a room on-line based on other traveler reviews. It's not a long road trip from San Antonio and the site said it may take up to 4 hours for the reservation to post at the hotel- happily that was not the case! Our room was ready for an early check-in which was great because there was no room to park in town. We were impressed when we arrived at our room. The room had a separate sitting area with a tv and love seat that converted to a twin size bed. The sleeping area had 2 queen beds, another tv and a great view of the pool, the lawn and Baron's Creek. The setting was beautiful, the room very nice, the staff great and accomodating. The only down-side was not the fault of the hotel. The walk into the main part of down was only 2- 3 long blocks but there was no sidewalk most of the way, forcing you to walk in the road or cross a very busy street to get to a sidewalk. Neither option was good , traveling with 2 children.

Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The property inside and out was beautiful and well maintained. Located very close to Main Street (within walking distance when not 100+ degrees outside!)

“Very Good Hotel”

We are very pleased with Inn on Barons Creek, it should definitely considered as place to stay in Fredericksburg. It has nice location close to Main Street, the rooms were relatively large and clean, breakfast buffet was very good as well, the staff was helpful, overall we were very pleased with the hotel

We really "shopped" online for a good choice in this idyllic town since we were coming west from LBJ country and were told "don't miss Fredericksburg". The reviews of Inn at Baron Creek were rather mixed, and so we were a little wary. But not to worry - it is a terrific place and an excellent value. Couldn't be better. Hey, its not the Ritz Carleton, so don't expect anything lavish, but it beats out most Holiday Inn Express and their ilk by a long shot. Be sure to go to the tearoom for lunch (Adams St.). The shopping is enchanting and the War of the Pacific Museum was a wonderful surprise and delight.

Very nice hotel which was handy to all amenities in Fredrickesburg. The hotel and room were nice and the breakfasts although simple were an excellent start to the day. The swimming pool was nice and the staff were very pleasant. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Fun times in Fredricksburg”

The was spacious for the 2 of us. The refrigerator in the room was a nice touch. It was within walking distance to Main St. The breakfast was very sufficient and fresh. They were flexible with a late check out. If you want "artsy," this was not the place but it was a reasonable price for the experience, clean comfortable and friendly.

We spent 2 days in Fredericksburg for our anniversary and the staff couldn't have been any better. Their tour and dinner suggestions were right on the mark AND they even left a beautiful vase of flowers and anniversary card for us in the room after one of our days in town. We will definitely stay at the Inn on Baron's Creek the next time we visit Fredericksburg!
