WiFi service was spotty. No elevator, no chair in the room, difficulty with my key. No manager in the office or on the property when I needed help. Main street was noisy. No coffee or dining of any kind, other than the wimpy one-cup coffee maker in the room. Bed was OK. Room was clean.

Room is clean, area is quiet but about seven in the mourning they start barbecuing next to our room filling whit smog I still smell like I I’m the one barbecuing an my head is hurting no to pleasant

Sheets were dirty (literal dirt in the bed, along with black scuff marks on the sheets). Bathroom sink is on the kitchen counter with no mirror except a hanging mirror on the wall beside it (which makes shaving over the sink impossible). Heater was very loud. You have to call for the office staff to come to the office. Normally I wouldn’t leave a review, and I know there aren’t many options in the area, but this one was pretty rough.

There were no curtains over blinds so I hung a sheet over it. The mattress slipped to side so I had to sleep in middle to not fall out. Flies everywhere inside the room. No desk or chair. No deadbolt. I put the stool under the door handle every night. Not a place to walk around at night.

This was the second time we stayed there. The only issue I had was the heater wasn’t working correctly. Everything else was great. Very clean and great place to stay.

Hidden gem in the Fresno area
We stayed here a couple weeks ago as a stopover on a longer road trip. We’ve had some bad experiences with privately owned hotels (as opposed to the big brands like Hilton or Marriott) so we weren’t sure what to expect. We were so pleasantly surprised. The rooms are freshly renovated, and absolutely spotless, with comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. These features alone make it a bargain for the price, but the real highlight is the staff. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff were so accommodating in every way. The Villa Alamari is far more like a boutique hotel than a roadside budget motel. There’s also a market and restaurant next door which smelled divine! Every possible thing we may have needed was covered. We will absolutely stay here again.

I would love to give this place five stars. The staff were very friendly and courteous and the room was clean. However, he bed felt uneven and "wobbly" and light coming in through the blinds made it difficult to fall asleep.

Since we didn't have local phone access, it would have been easier if we knew we could contact him at the store nextdoor . Also we wish our room was not so close to where where the long term guests were because they got up before 3am and there was a lot of noise for the next hour.

This property is definitely brand new, it's not 5 Star Hotel but definitely worth the price. Great food next door and Sami was very helpful. Suggestion please put security bar on door for extra security. Also hang fly strips.... flies drove me crazy

Room was nice. Bed was smaller than we thought when we book it but it worked fine. The room seemed clean until after taking a shower and walking across floor. We went to put on socks and bottom of our feet were dirty. Had to go rewash them and immediately put socks and shoes on. Face cloths were not provided.

The Desk attendant was very friendly. The TV was not working and he solved the issue quickly. The only problem was there were no coffee cups. It was to early in the am to request them. We will return!!
