Cute Efficiency Cottage Near Pine Creek

This cute one room efficiency cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway! It’s within walking distance to Pine Creek. The cottage contains a queen sized bed, a pull out sofa, kitchen, apartment size stove and refrigerator, and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, a drip coffee maker, toaster, etc. The cottage has a deck with outdoor seating and an outdoor fire pit. Pine Creek offers great fishing, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, etc. The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon is nearby and offers hiking trails and picturesque views. The Pine Creek Rail Trail is approximately 3 miles away and runs parallel to Pine Creek. Both bikers and hikers enjoy the trail!

Please note: This cottage is a quiet getaway. It does not have TV or internet access and cell service is very spotty in the area.

Cozy Getaway
Cottage located in a quiet area right near Pine Creek, Rail to Trail, and good eateries. Loved the early mornings, sitting on the little deck having coffee and listening to nature. We would come back again!

Cozy Mountain Cabin
We, ( my sister, Mother and I), found the cabin to be absolutely adorable. The location is scenic , perfect for walks with the dog and jaunts into Wellsboro, or a cozy dinner at the Log Cabin Inn. We didn’t get to try out the fire pit because we picked a drizzly weekend , but we had a wonderful time and would definitely rent this cabin again.

Great little cottage in the woods
This is a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Wellsboro is a great town with great restaurants. There are hiking trails not from from the cabin that have spectacular views. Already booked again!

Fall getaway-highly reccommend
It was a very nice location, really cute cabin that was very clean. Loved the fire pit. Enjoyed the covered wagon tours at the Grand Canyon. ,close by. The bed was very comfortable. My only suggestion was, the bath towels should be replaced, they were very worn out, as well as the kitchen tee towels and dish cloths. The dvd setup was nice, even had some to use. A very nice couple of days to enjoy the fall weather.

Very pleasant experience. Stayed for two nights and found the cabin (one room house with private bathroom) easy to adapt to. Enjoyed playing in Pine Creek one warm sunny afternoon. This area has a rugged beauty to it. Enjoy!

A cabin worth every penny!
This cabin was so cozy! Offerd many conforts of home including an indoor fireplace, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was quiet and serene and it's less than 30 minutes drive time to get to Wellsboro. This cabin was the perfect place to stay for the get away we needed!

Lovely cottage in a very private setting near Pennsylvania’s Grand Canyon. We arrived at peak fall foliage time and made good use of the log burning fireplace. Cozy. Kitchen well equiped and very comfortable queen bed.

Sleeping was terrible
The bed was so uncomfortable we had to leave a day early. The tv didn’t work even without cable or dish, the dvd wasn’t functioning. The shower was not the one shown on website and you could barely fit in it not to mention try to clean yourself,. We couldn’t move around the bathroom without bumping into the toilet, sink or door! There were ants all over the counters and the kitchen was barely functional with the space being so tight. There were no drawers to put our clothes so our suitcases had to be placed on the couch leaving no other place to sit but the hard kitchen chairs. It made it for a very uncomfortable visit to say the least. It ruined or trip!

Overall very good experience. Only issues were the water had a sulfur smell (maybe from lack of rain) and the tv was difficult to turn on (power cord?) communication was good and amenities were perfect with the grill and patio furniture on the porch.

EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE CABIN WITH ALL THE AMENITIES INCLUDED. THE PERFECT IDYLLIC AND TRANQUIL SETTING AMIDST THE WOODS, JUST ABOVE PINE CREEK, WHERE MY GRANDSON AND I WENT FISHING. WE LOVED THE (clean)GAS GRILLE ON THE BACK PORCH FOR GRILLING BURGERS! WILDLIFE ABOUNDS IN THE AREA FOR VIEWING, DEER, HAWKS, SQUIRRELS AND A BIG BLACK AND WHITE FRIENDLY CAT, RIGHT FROM THE CABIN WINDOWS! THANK YOU! VERY CLEAN AND RELAXING, WE WILL BE BACK! MARIO AND FAMILY.
