The hotel is conveniently located right off I 75. However, it is not "2 minutes from the UF campus" as claimed. In addition, thr shower was stained, the room was musty and humid all evening, the air conditioning unit was not cooling property, and the shower dripped continously throughout the night on the metal drain strip until we threw towels down. Lots of lobby noise at 5 am (we had a room on the first floor). And the beds were uncomfortable.

The sliding glass door handle was broken and wouldn’t lock. It wouldn’t seal well either so I heard the highway noise and sirens and such all night. Super loud. Barely slept. Unacceptable to have a broken door handle at this price point. Front desk didn’t seem to care at all. Said well ok.

Nice property and convenient to amenities. Lobby and main hotel was inviting. Our room needed attention. Carpeting torn at transition with tack strips exposed, cigarette burns on desk, end tables, etc. Some metal furniture was rusty. Bed was comfy and down comforter awesome!

The non-smoking room smelled strongly if cigarettes even perfume couldn’t mask. The bathroom was dirty, especially the shower and the handle the sliding doors was broken and the lock didn’t lock which meant I slept in an open room being on the second floor. Overall not a place to stay at again.

Location was great, right next to the highway and tons of dining options. Check in was smooth, the staff were friendly and the free chocolate chip cookie was a nice touch. The room was spacious but some items looked below par: welcome chalk sign was smudged, the table had cigarette burns, and the mirror had brown coloring around the edges. But the reason for the 3 star was cleanliness of the bathroom, there was some hair left from the previous guest and you could tell the shower floor hadn't been scrubbed because you could feel the soap scum.
