Great stay in Galveston
We were at the house for 3 weeks in March. There's plenty of common areas room, nice size bedrooms, ery comfortable beds, a nice, large dining area, and a great location. The home is probably the best-stocked VRBO we've stayed at. Plenty of towels and sheets as well as a very well stocked kitchen--knives, pans, dishes, small appliances, etc. Also, these were all of a high quality, which isn't always the case. We really appreciated that the pool was heated at no additional cost. We had a couple small issues with this during the three weeks--and the owner was VERY responsive. It never became a problem. Be aware, the pool is on the small side, but was fine for our families with small kids. Also, the home is on a busy street with the noise that would accompany that. The owners provided noise machines in the bedrooms which was a great idea and appreciated. Very quickly got used to the situation.

Beautifully restored historic home
This 100 year old historic Galveston home is beautifully restored with all the modern amenities you can want. The list of amenities in the description is extensive and accurate. Also, owner generously supplies consumables like dishwasher detergent and toilet paper as well as beach and pool towels. Recharging stations throughout the house. Pool area, deck and fences in yard was so welcoming and secure. House is located on Broadway, a very busy street, but the owners even thought of that by providing noise machines and fans in the bedrooms to dampen the street noise. Lastly, the bikes are a nice touch to allow for quick exploration of the area.

Girls Getaway
Our overall stay was amazing. The house was perfect for our girls getaway and allowed enough space for us. Everything from the checkin process to checkout processes was smooth. We did encounter one issue with the pool. It was not heating. This was the main reason we booked this house but I will say communication with the property manager was on point. They answered every question, attempted troubleshooting on their own and when that did not work, they called out an after hours pool company to try and fix the problem. They were not able to fix the issue but the communication with the property manager and the willingness to do whatever they could, made this all ok! We will definitely be back! You wont regret your stay here

A great house!
The Blue Haven is an excellent house that is located in the center of Galveston. The modern comforts with the luxurious historical and antic touches made the house an excellent choice. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the kitchen essentials for cooking. TV's in most rooms was a big plus. A house we will consider using again if in the area.

Fantastic House and Host
Wow! This place exceeded our expectations. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do (beach, pleasure pier, Moody Gardens, and Bryan Museum). We had teens and young adult children with us. The house was perfect. I was amazed at how well-equipped the house was. Especially the kitchen. It had everything we needed, which was perfect since our large family loves to cook and eat. The games and many TVs were incredible too. The pool and outdoor area were fantastic for relaxing evenings. We will definitely be back.

Fun with Friends
Everything about our stay was perfect. Our host was very accommodating, communicative, and informative. The home is immaculate. The location is convenient to everything – the beach, strand, pleasure pier, restaurants, you name it. We loved reading about the history of this home built back in 1912 and marveled at the fact that even after the renovations needed to bring it up to 21st-century standards, the original glory of this magnificent home is still evident throughout. The owners definitely left no detail untouched, anywhere. It would be difficult to say which part of the home we liked best, but if we had to, it would probably be a tossup between the beautiful master suite and the wonderful relaxing pool area. If you enjoy cooking, this kitchen is for you. It is supplied with everything you could possibly need to prepare a feast. The two large living areas are comfortable and like the rest of the home, tastefully decorated. We couldn’t find one thing we didn’t love about My Blue Heaven and we will definitely be back.

We Loved Our Stay
This property is very well maintained. Everything was clean and in working order in the home. Beach towels, chairs and coolers are provided, as well as 2 bikes (both had flat tires). Parking is very tight, as only one vehicle is allowed to be parked in the back parking area. The dental office across 18th St. takes all the on street parking so more than one vehicle is a problem according to the rules. We enjoyed the pool, but being the end of August, the heat made it more like a hot tub. The location is fantastic! It is centrally located on Broadway and easy to access the Strand or the beach. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

A little bit of heaven
I've been renting through VRBO for the past 15 years and I can say this is the most beautiful rental I've ever experienced. A lovely Craftsman-style home beautifully decorated and furnished. A kitchen with everything you need. Very comfortable beds and great TV and music systems. Things for a trip to the beach, from beach towels to beach bags. Then a beautiful backyard patio and pool area with plenty of seating for relaxing in the evening. I highly recommend My Blue Heaven because it is a little bit of heaven.

We loved this house! It’s beautiful. The decor is perfect. The kitchen is stocked with all of the things that I have in my own kitchen, including spices! It is clean. The beds are very comfortable. The living room is perfect for a large family-the dining room is as well! The outside is perfect! The pool is gorgeous. We spent a lot of time in and around it! We rented a couple of golf carts for the week and rode to the beach every day- which is just a couple of blocks away. They had a beach umbrella, coolers, and beach bags to use! It really was perfect for our family of 9. I had a question for the owner and had a response within minutes. We have ZERO complaints!

Perfect and relaxing stay
This house has all of the amenities you could need for a wonderful vacation. My four year old loves the pool and never wanted to get out. The beds were comfortable, and the house was very clean. The location is just minutes away from the beach and any other place you need to get to on the Island. We’re already planning our next stay. Book this house, you won’t regret it!

Spring Break 2023
The nostalgic Galveston feeling at home while being able to walk/drive to attractions near by. One direction takes you to the beach, pleasure pier FUN, and lots of options for food. The other direction takes you to many options for tours, the Strand shopping, bar hopping, axe throwing, escape room FUN etc. If you want to save money and cook at the house, no problem! Everything is there! There is a Kroger or Walmart. The host is fully equipped with all the essentials. Then just hang out at the pool, which was just AMAZING! I just cannot imagine anyone not being happy with this house option. We jammed our tunes throughout the house! So FUN!

Great Place
This is a wonderful option in Galveston and would definitely book this place again! We rode the two provided bikes to the beach every morning. It's about a 5-10 minute ride/walk and there is a bit of an incline but coming back is a breeze. The pool is great! Perfect size for 5 adult ladies to relax. The house is beautiful! Very clean, well-spaced, comfortable beds, cozy living room couch and smart tv's in each space. The only thing I wish I had prepared for was how busy Broadway Avenue is on the weekends. This was only an issue for me as the nighttime noise kept me awake. Nothing earplugs wouldn't resolve and no one else in my party had a problem with it. The hosts even provide a noise machine that really helps (I purchased one for myself after trying theirs out). This is not a negative for the house at all, just something a light sleeper needs to prepare for. I still give this house a 5 star review!

Lone star rally stay
I booked the stay for lone star rally. The house was better than expected. It has a nice pool that was kept heated so we could get in and relax after the ride in. Where the house is located was perfect for the rally. Right in between the strand and seawall. Easy to get back and forth to each location. The owner always responded right away before, during and after the stay. I would definitely stay here again

This property was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The area was very nice and centrally located with a quick walk to the Children's Museum or a 10 minute walk to the beach. There was truely something for everyone in our group! All expectations were nicely laid out in a written folder on the island in the kitchen and was easily readable.

The property is beautiful. We had 9 people including 5 children in our group but the house could easily accommodate more. This turn of the 20th Century home is gorgeously decorated and extremely comfortable for our party of 8. The pool is wonderful with its fountains and privacy. We were not too far from the sea wall and beach. We love that are several haunted tours to do at night! We also loved shopping on The Strand and at the beach. The house is perfectly located to do any of the many activities in Galveston or just to chill in the pool or watching the huge tv in the family room. 5 star all the way!!

Amazing House!
This house was absolutely amazing! Carlina was an amazing host and super communicative. The house is located in the historic district which is charming and close to downtown and the beach. While my teen daughters originally wanted to stay somewhere on the beach they were so thankful for this charming home and the relaxing pool. Carlina was very responsive and made everything a breeze from booking through checkout. We have stayed at a lot of short term rental and this was by far the best. Book now!

Perfect GetAway!
The house was immaculate and so much fun! Carlina was super responsive and was accommodating when requests were made. It is within walking distance to The Strand with great shopping and food. Historic luxury Galveston rental
The Blue House is a beautiful historic property that has been renovated and equipped to the highest standard. The pool is idyllic as is the outside deck space. Our family used this as a base to explore Galveston and celebrate a special birthday. The house set up suited the wide age range (4yrs to 75 yrs!) of our party. Absolutely fantastic home
This is one of the best vacation rentals I’ve stayed in. Location was perfect for walking to the shops and restaurants. The home had a good floor plan, which made it nice for spreading out with a larger group. The separate sitting areas were good and the kitchen was really nice. It was well stocked, very clean and comfortable for our whole group. The back yard was an added bonus. Having a pool and a sitting area were great. I think we used the patio seating more than any other location. I would recommend and stay here again.

If I could rate this Wonderful experience 100 + stars I would. We had a Stupendous Weekend!!! The home left me Speechless , so Beautiful very clean, had everything we needed and more.
