They were great at accomodating a room switch for my friend and I when we put in a expedia request for a king bed instead of twins. They also gave us a city transit card and the tram stations were really walkable to the hotel. I used the tram to get to the Geneva airport and train from Paris.

I stayed at Hotel Jade as a solo traveller for 3 nights in December. I enjoyed my stay, and for a short city break it met my requirements. The lobby area was small but nicely decorated for Christmas, the breakfast area was also small with limited options but enough choice for me. The staff were friendly. The room was nice, tidy and clean. I was put in a room next to another room which was being redecorated which was a bit annoying in the day time but as I was out most of the time it didn't affect me. The shower head was a bit wobbly which was my main gripe. Easy to walk to the lake and trams also very close. But overall a nice 3* hotel. I would stay again.

Nice room and very nice ensuite. Plenty of space for the two of us and our bags/clothes etc. The room was very hot and turning off the heating didn't help it cool down much, so we slept with the window slightly open (in January)

We were very pleased with the location and comfort of the Jade Hotel. It is next to some parts of Geneva’s old town that have a well-developed restaurant scene and just one block from major tram lines. (One of those tram lines will get you to the main train station in less than 10 minutes where you can catch a train to the airport.) Our room featured comfortable mattresses, well-functioning A/C, and even synthetic pillows for anyone who dislikes feather-stuffed pillows. Our favorite aspect of the hotel, though, was the generous and varied buffet breakfast that is served every day from 7-11 a.m. We would definitely stay here again on any future visits to Geneva.

Quiet hotel in Geneva
The hotel was clean & quiet, the AC worked well, and close to public transportation and restaurants. The deep tub was especially welcoming after a long day. Although it's in the city, the window faces a small courtyard so you're not looking into someone else's apartment or facing the street. The staff was nice, a special mention to Rui who saved us a ton of time Monday morning by recommending taking the train to the airport rather than taxi or bus (which get caught in traffic). Highly recommend!

I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. The location is great - away from Old Town but still accessible to it. Easy walk or transit from main train station and lots of good eats in the area. Room was very nice and breakfast included. Everyone there is very nice.

Good for what it was. Staff was helpful. The breakfast buffet was simple. Some eggs, cold cuts, cheese and bread. Definitely worth getting as food (and everything) is expensive in Geneva. Train station is a 10 minute walk so good for the airport and day trips. Just an okay part of town. The better area (I am sure more expensive) is the old town area. There are a few easy restaurants and groceries nearby. Something that seems popular is the use of clouded glass doors for the bathroom instead of a solid door. When using the bathroom at night it lights up the whole room.

This is an OK hotel. It is in a good working order, within a walking distance from the Geneva train station, with lots of dining options and grocery stores such as Lidl close-by. Also the stunning Lac Leman is within a walking distance - that's great. The bed is great - I slept well, though you can hear muffled noise from rooms adjacent to yours. There were a couple of things I found disappointing. For the price I paid (£420), this was a very basic offering. I bought the option without breakfast and arrived prepared for it. I learned from the reception lady that I had breakfast included in the stay. That was fantastic, but I would have appreciated some note before arrival about it - otherwise I wouldn't have brought my breakfasts with me. The hotel is in need of minor repairs and is all in all quite dated. There is no information in the room about check in/check out times, towels replacement (how to avoid the unnecessary change for the sake of planet), nor cleaning. There is a sign to put on the door that says "Please Don't / Please Do" - but it doesn't say what it applies to. Don't disturb? Don't clean? Don't...? Lastly, the hotel has an open internet - and in the times of hackers going wild I see this as a major disappointment and oversight on the security of guests. All in all, this is an ok hotel suitable for a couple of nights when you're in Geneva for leisure. The staff is pleasant and helpful. If you don't need much from your stay, this is a good place to stay.

The price you paid was a normal price comparing the other Hotel of the place but I understand your surprise : Geneva is an expensive city. Your reservation was indicated with breakfast included ; we didn't choose it for you, we received the reservation like that and it should be written on your confirmation. All information about the Hotel (check in time, check out time, breakfast time, room service, laundry service, etc...) are written in the "room directories" situated on the desk in each room. The group Manotel is very active in the ecology. One of the main thing is : in your bathroom you should have a paper about the towels : if you leave it on the floor, it means that you want us to clean it ; if not, we leave it.Our paper "Please don't / please do" means Please do(n't) enter in the room : for cleaning, for disturbing, for all reason that you won't need us to enter.About open internet, we took note about your remark.We are sorry that our services didn't fit with your expectations.It was a pleasure to welcome you in our Hotel and we wish you a great day !

The hotel is lovely. We had a room that overlooked a beautiful, quiet courtyard. The hotel is conveniently located just a couple blocks from the Butini metro stop, which takes you directly to the train station, or to other areas of town. The neighborhood had a few restaurants and shops, which was helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The only complaint that we have is that the ventilation system was broken; it only produced heat and could not be regulated. They said that they had called a technician, who would not be able to come until 2 days after our departure. It affected the whole hotel. Fortunately, we were able to open the large window in the room and control the temperature that way. Other than that, it was a great hotel.
