Relax next to the water
I picked this spot for a friend vacay and everyone loved being right on the water and having a balcony to eat breakfast on. Beds were comfy. Both couples had a lot of private space. Easy checkin. About two minutes’ walk from a trail.

You can’t beat the location of this property. This was our third stay at this location and had a wonderful time. The house is equipped with everything you need.

Hard to review this one
Great location, good provisions, good extras, terrible layout. Not suited for more than one couple or family due to bedroom layouts. The biggest problem was the multiple baited mousetraps and sticky traps through out the house. The house seamed to be recently treated and smelled like exterminator spray. The upside was no bugs or mice. The great location would make us want to return, but people who expect luxury would hate the property.

Our family of 5 spent the Winter at this property. It was perfect and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Close to Denver and to Loveland Ski area. We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway!
Dianne was absolutely wonderful to work with! She’s so accommodating! The pictures don’t do it justice! It was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for for our family! We will definitely be back in the summer when it’s warmer so we can take advantage of the lake in the backyard!

Great location!
We came for a wedding and our friends rented a large house next door, so it worked out perfectly for us. This house had a lot of character and the layout was unique, but it works great for a family. It was very clean and the location right near the highway was so convenient to explore the area.

Great place!
Nice place, worked well for our group of hikers. We locked the key in the rental and the owner was very quick and helpful in getting it unlocked. Excellent location and everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

Property was nice. It sleeps 6 but was really a 1 bedroom property with loft open to kitchen and living room. Cobb webs need to be cleaned away. All in all we liked the property. Enjoyed the fact that the backyard went to the water.

Georgetown is a quaint town with some nice restaurants. The VRBO is close to a few ski resorts and the place is really clean and quiet!

Great for family
We really enjoyed this house. We saw a lot of reviews complaining about the loft sleeping area, but for our family it worked well. The kids were upstairs, the oldest took the sofa on the main floor, and hubby and I stayed in the bedroom. The bedroom was on the lowest floor, with its own sitting room and kitchenette. It was very private and quiet. The main floor had a great layout with a lot of space and great views of the lake and mountains. The place was pet friendly, the home is well maintained, and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. We were a short 15 minute drive to Loveland Ski Resort. There was a great brewery/restaurant a short 5 minute walk away and a cute downtown a short drive away. We really enjoyed going to a tour of a working gold mine at the edge of town. I highly recommend it!

Our family enjoyed our stay. There is plenty for a family to do, and the area itself it beautiful. The house is closer to the freeway than we expected, but it was not distracting, and Georgetown is lovely.

Great location! Beautiful views & Bighorn Sheep across the way. There is room for 10 to sleep, if sharing beds, although there is only one bed in a private room with a door. Overall, this place had everything we needed.

Ideal location!
This was a perfect place for us! We were visiting for the Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon and we really couldn’t have been staying at a better location. We were able to walk to the start of the race—and beyond that the layout was great to have the privacy we needed between the four of us, but could also hang out together and play games and chat casually. Even more, it was perfect for our dogs! The water right outside of the house was perfect for us to paddle board, use the paddle boat, or just play fetch with the dogs. I could go on, but this was ideal for us! And the owners were so kind and easy to talk to. If we ever make it back to the area we hope we’d get to stay here again!

Great space by the lake
Was lucky enough to book this last minute for the 4th of July weekend with some friends and had a great time. The river and house are clean, with your usual bugs being so close to water. The house itself is lovely, a ton of space for people and giant kitchen to cook in. One full bedroom with a bathroom in the basement and the rest is shared open space which makes for a good social time. House was missing some things like hand soap but really minor details for an overall great weekend. Hope I can stay again soon and spend more time in Georgetown.

Beautiful
Family of 9 only one actual room but so many options for sleeping. Plenty of parking for 2 trucks plus a camper. Bikes for kiddos to ride a trail that is close to the house. Plenty of fishing. The little brewery down the road is so cute. Only down fall was no air so it got toasty but we opened doors and windows and it cooled off. Beautiful property and was a great time.

Great place to make family memories
Great place in the world to make family memories. This place only has ONE bedroom and then other sleeping areas with beds. We had two couples and we were disappointed to find only one bedroom. We split the nights in the private bedroom so it worked out. Just keep that in mind if you have multiple families etc. Also, hot water heater had a hard time keeping up for 3 teens ... so Mom should shower first!!
