Very Nice Hotel and Pleasant Staff
"Beautiful old hotel with a pleasant and helpful staff. A bit quirky with lots of different levels (and stairs) on rack floor.
While I really liked the hotel and the location, I have to mention one improvement they should make. The bath tub/shower did not have a safety mat in it and had a very high side to it. Without safety bars, it made getting in and out of the shower a very iffy situation (especially for an old gizzer like me."
"Main positive is location, location, and location. It is next to Palaus du Papes, across from Place de Ville (City Hall) and Place de l’Horloge (many restaurants), and is within walking distance to supermarket and Pont d’Avignon. Spent one day leisurely touring Palais des Papes and Pont d’Avignon. Took a 9-hr tour of Provence (highly recommended). Hotel is basic and room is tiny, but room layout is functional (love the separate toilet and shower/sink vanity), and price is very reasonable. Highly recommend this hotel."
