Great hotel with very friendly staff. The street noise can be very loyd at night. If you have a room facing the afternoon sun the room takes a while to cool down. I recommend better insulating curtains, fans in the room, and to lower the room temperatures before check in so it is not so warm for rooms facing the afternoon sun.

Amé mi estancia en Casa Habita. Desde hace tiempo quería quedarme en la zona, entre la Lafayette y la Americana, pues me interesaba caminar a sitios de interés y restaurantes. No me equivoqué, pasé un gran fin de semana. El desayuno incluido, perfecto: una barra con frutas, jugo, croissants y carnes frías. Suficiente para empezar el día. El staff, muy amable y cálido tiene las mejores recomendaciones para la zona. Te prestan bicicletas y tiene áreas de lectura muy cómodas. El diseño del hotel muy cool, me fascinó su vibra. El cuarto, amplio y cómodo, con lo necesario para descansar. Mucho spot instagrameable, todos divinos. Me quedaría de nuevo en este lugar.

Good location. Safe and quiet neighborhood that is very walkable with lots of good restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is starting to show its age. Not sure it is worth the price. Likely you could find a property in better shape for the price.

Oasis in the city
I had a few issues at check in that needed attention. Ultimately everything was fixed and I was more than happy. Thank you-Much appreciated. Hotel is an eclectic mix of funky decore but very trendy. Breakfast was great, Valet and waitstaff were quick, efficient and friendly. I would love to return.

Noise! I was on the third floor, overlooking the pool deck. Music played all the time, though I only ever saw two people there. First night… I kept waking up, thinking… soon they will turn it off. Second night at 1:30am I called reception to turn it off. Third night I asked the duty manager to come to my room to listen. He appeared concerned. Who is the music being played for when this pool area is clearly not being used much, and why sooo loud? Hotel guests are in hotels to essentially get some rest, if I want nightclub action I can go to one. I doubt I’m the first to complain and yet it always seems to be surprise to the staff? So I guess the hotel likes it this way and the music will continue to play.

A Definite Recommend
This was such a nice find. In a quiet residential area but with many bar and dining choices within walking distance on Av. Chapultepec and side streets. Staff was extremely friendly and professional, treated us like special guests. Only hesitation would be that the rooms are smaller and the unique layout limits free space. Not suitable for families, but great for couples and solo travelers. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Uniquely beautiful historic property with luxurious amenities, located in lovely quiet, leafy neighborhood, with most helpful staff who arranged excellent tour guides and drivers and offered valuable travel tips. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect, walking distance to all the great restaurants and in a safe neighbourhood. The style of the hotel was lovely and we had a beautiful room with a view! Great pool & spa too!

I liked the room and the area. But the staffs were not as good as I expected for the money u paid. They were friendly, but couldn’t help me with a surprise for my partner much. I told them not to show the cost to my partner beforehand. But when we were about to leave, the staff showed us the bill. I immediately closed my partner’s eyes lol So that was the worst thing since I asked a few times on the email beforehand. AC was broken even tho I reserved a sweet room with a bathtub. So it wasn’t a good experience.

Casa Habita was gorgeous along with friendly staff. However, we were disappointed to learn that their air conditioning system was down and we were not informed when we checked in. Casa Habita provided our room with an oscillating fan. However, this was a huge omission of information. Unfortunately, we checked out for another hotel that had air conditioning. However, the front desk was understanding why we had to move elsewhere and was prompt with getting our refund back.

The hotel's lobby was modern, we arrived earlier than the allowed check in time but the front desk staff held out luggage so that we could get our day started without having to carry our bags everywhere. Front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Check in process was smooth and we received a voucher for two free drinks from the hotel's bar. Our room was very clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. There was an outdoor patio that was very beautiful and peaceful. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. We felt safe the entire stay.

This was our second stay at Casa Habita and, overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel and the neighborhood are charming. The room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and did everything that they could to make our stay enjoyable. However, we were incredibly disappointed to learn upon arrival that the pool would be closed for maintenance for the entirety of our stay. (And, from the looks of it, it won’t be open for quite a while.) I really needed to decompress on this vacation and this was a big let down. The front desk staff went out of their way to find another hotel in the area that offered day passes to their pool so that we could still relax in the sun. However, with such short notice, their efforts were unsuccessful. Despite the disappointment, I still think we’d have chosen to stay at Casa Habita over one of the other hotels that we’d considered. However, If you’ll be staying there soon and hope to relax by the pool, I’d recommend checking with the hotel to confirm that it will be open. And, if it won’t be, ask them to make a reservation for you at one of the other Guadalajara hotels that offer day passes so that you can still relax in the sun!

The Cool Ones…
Great hotel in Guadalajara. Located in a nice part of the city with walkable distance to many restaurants and bars. The front desk staff are top notch and very personable. The restaurant at the hotel is good and basic, solid. Rooms are minimal and stylish, not for everyone, but I liked the design. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed. Not a typical chain or suburban place.

NOT SO SUPERB - STAY ELSEWHERE
From start to finish, our stay here was not pleasant and an unfortunate way to experience Guadalajara for the first time. Noise Alert! This hotel backs up to a club and you can hear the music from 10PM to the early morning hours all night long. No sound proof windows. Horrible Front Desk Service - asked multiple times for assistance with dinner reservations and there was zero follow up or confirmation Pool Not In Service - the pool was out of commission for two days, closed on NYE for event set up (never communicated), and then when it did open the fourth day, WHITE PAINT FLAKES were floating throughout the pool Key Access / Dumbbells - although angling for a charming moment, the singular key access was way too big and bulky, certain bouncers at the clubs thought the piece to activate the lighting was a weapon Restaurant vs Hotel - great confusion on what the complementary drinks entail, charging for a spicy margarita but not a regular margarita. Also service took forever, and continental breakfast took 20 minutes to get your egg… Neighborhood - during the day was fine but at night did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood. Part of the city concern in general but definitely felt like a target leaving the hotel at night. All in all, stay somewhere else…
