Perfect location in Guadalajara

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Location!! Right place, close to all major avenues and in a busy business district with amazing restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: They are under renovations so I will only mention the space for the toilet seat.
Location: Restaurants, boutiques, pharmacies and overnight convenience stores within 3 small blocks.
To be fair I must say the hotel is going through renovations. The hotel and room were OK but the room seemed very old. The toilet space was small and a bit uncomfortable. The A/C didn't work and the hot water took a long time to come out. I was provided with a very nice portable A/C (fan) and that was more than enough for a comfortable stay. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Overall it was great place to stay in a business trip. An iron would have come handy but, then again, for US$42.00 -Tax In- I find it very reasonable. Not recommended for Honey Mooners or way too picky people.

great location but needs upgrading

Posted May 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
THe staff were excellant and helpful. However, the place is in need of major upgrade. The rooms lack some basics (, coffee maker, micro wave, mini frig, chair etc. ). The pool was out of service. Maintenance work was in progress and pool was being refilled on my last day there. The plus is that the hotel has several great restaurants within a short walking distance. Cab service is excellant and affordable.
