Many of Reykjavik’s key attractions are near to Hafnir, so it is a great place to base yourself while you are in town. The Viking World Museum and the Reykjanes Art Museum are two of the interesting place to visit here. And if your schedule allows, be sure to visit the Duus Hus Cultural Centre and the Gunnuhver Thermal Springs.
To really get a feel for Reykjavik, take a trip to one of its fabulous cultural destinations. Spend part of the day browsing the exhibits at the Gardur Folk Museum in Gardur.
