“Top Class”

The best hotel I've stayed at in the area. This is a truly All Inclusive if you enjoy a back massage even these are free. Don't take extra towels you don't need them, always freshly laundered in the room and the pool man supplies you towels for the pool and beach. The service is brilliant, the staff always friendly even to those who don't tip. If you get good service please tip as these guys don't get much and they really do appreciate it. Will continue to return to this hotel for a chilled out holiday.

“Was at the Orangers in July 2006”

I spent 4 nights at the Orangers Hotel in July 2006. I booked what the called a "family room". From the picture I was in their website, it looked nice and large enough to accommodate 2 adults and an 8 year old comfortably. When I got there, I was shown 2 different rooms which could barely accommodate 2 people. I had to argue and threaten to cancel before they gave me the room I wanted. I have to say I did not like that experience at all. Once settled in the room I wanted, everthing went well. I have to say that the staff, the food, the atmosphere in the hotel and in Hammamet were fantastic. If I could make one suggestion however, it would to eliminate the ashtrays from the restaurant and forbid smoking during meals.

“acceptable for cheap week in sun”

okay for cheap week in sun, but food does get very monotonous, we ate out of hotel 2/3 times in the evening. would recommend the tunisian and asian a la carte evenings in hotel to add some variety. breakfast okay - use the omelette chef!! air conditioning broke in the hotel for a couple of days, very poor communication from management. however beach is pleasant, if you walk along towards the medina, can find a quieter spot. old medina lovely to explore. yasmine marine pleasant too.

best thing about hotel was the beach. food sucks, entertainment no good, service very generic, not much help from staff. would stay elsewhere next time

“Steer clear”

Firstly the standard room is not like the photo of the room on Expedia. It's much smaller and darker. Room and hotel generally can only be described as shabby. Loose tiles, rust marks, balcony unswept, bird droppings and spillages still there days later. Animation staff work very hard and are always cheerful. They're the best thing about the hotel. Rest of the staff seem moody. Food awful. Bland. Lived on bread and rice. More 1 - 2 star than 3 star. Thank god we weren't there long.
