I arrived late, the night porter showed me exactly where to park, gave every assistance. Room very clean All facilities Excellent. Breakfast well cooked and hot. Only criticism is ran out of knives, but when I asked one immediately provided..

First time of using this hotel and would definitely go back. We stayed here for our trip to into London as it is only 2 minutes from Watford Junction. Although the hotel is by the train station you don't hear the trains. Check in was easy. Staff were very pleasant. It's very clean which is always a good sign. Breakfast is included in the price. On offer for breakfast was bacon, scrambled egg, various cereals, toast, croissants, fruit and yoghurts. Tea, Coffee, apple juice and orange juice. It's all help yourself which suits my family.

Was really good stay, close to motorway exit and near to watford overground. Travelled to London one day at a cost of £14.20 for return overground (20 minutes) and all underground travel. Only thing not so good was that parking was only available after 5pm - 8.30 next morning and all day sat and sun. You could park at a nearby carpark for £3 per day, which could be used against food or drink purchased at the pub - so was a bit inconvenient but I would still go back

“Handy for Watford Junction and 16mins from London!!”

This was a really comfy hotel, close to the station and handy for the journey to London which was what we wanted, Everything was explained to us at reception, the room was a good size with a lovely big shower and clever door to the bathroom. Good breakfast with warm croissants - hurray!!! Parking was handy too.

“Clean Hotel, Friendly Staff, Very Satisfied”

I stayed in this hotel as I attended a Wedding locally, it was a convenient hotel to the high street (10 min walk) and right next to a friendly pub and Watford Junction train station (with many cabs outside) All the staff were extremely friendly, we had our 2 yr old daughter with us and and it catered for all our needs. The room & bathroom was lovely and clean, and very comfortable. Would definately stay again.

the hotel is well managed with very friendly courtest staff. food is good and inexpensive.location great to watford station but surrounding area not too friendly room well apointed but a bit small ok for a short stay but my 4 days the room was too small lacked cloth hangers and space for travel cases travel by car is a problem in that you have to pay for parking your car in very limited car park

“Just as expected, courteous staff and spotlessly clean”

Perfectly happy with this hotel. It was a short walk from Watford Junction and ideal for our needs. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I travel quite a bit and I think the staff at the Holiday inn were the most pleasant i have comes across. Rooms were spacious and spotless and the breakfast quite sufficient to set you up for the day. Only one small moan, I had to pay a thirty pound deposit which i got returned at checkout. I had paid in full on booking with Expedia. I was unaware of this prior to travel. Other than this I had no complaints.
