"So the few things I did not like where the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the onsen water was hot enough to burn me (the rock onsen at the bottom) and the pool closed SOOOO early that we didn’t get to experience it at all. I paid a lot of money for that hotel and then didn’t even get to experience the pool. But the staff was very accommodating and made great efforts to speak English to us. "

"Check-in was quick and staff was able to assist me even with my lack of Japanese. The welcome drink and cheesecake while waiting for the room key was delicious. The view from the lobby was gorgeous as well. We reserved a “traditional” style room. The tatami mats and natural wood outdoor onsen/shower was such a unique experience. It was so relaxing to soak in the onsen while overlooking the ocean and listening to the waves crashing below. The dinner and breakfasts were to die for and gave me new...

"Staff and food were excellent. Property is old and needs upgrading. It rained overnight while we were there and the hotel leaked in corridors. Water everywhere in corridors and the stairs between floors. Rooms acceptable but not as clean as they should be. This hotel has a sister hotel across the street and that is where most of the facilities are, big onsen bath etc."

"熱川おおるりにも宿泊しましたが、総合的にこちらの方が良かったです。食材に大差はないものの、収容者数が少ないためバイキング会場がそれほど混み合わないし、開始時間に遅れてもそこそこ食材にもありつける。朝食時にジュースサーバーが使えるのも良い。自動おしぼり機でないのでストレスがない。子供には最初から子供用の椅子が用意してある心遣いがある・・・と、熱川おおるりとの比較でコメントしてみました。"
