Fantastic Lake Location and Property
My family and I enjoyed our stay and were impressed with the beautifully renovated two bedroom cottage. There were many thoughtful touches added by the hosts that made the stay even better such as clearly labeled drawers and cabinets, instructions on use of features on the property, a folder with information on local attractions/restaurants and a notebook for guests to add comments about their stay to share with future guests.

Great little getaway
We had a wonderful time at the Cozy Cottage. Robin really did go above and beyond for make our stay feel really special (we celebrated my husband’s birthday- and she got him a HBD balloon!- and special toy gifts for my 3 YO). It was a nice quiet neighborhood, great view of lake, near to state park- and the cottage was perfect for our little family. Since we went in late October, it was peak leaf foliage, best time to go. Lake Time!
We had a great mini-vacation to Rocky Fork State Park and Robin's beautiful lake house. Such fun swimming and kayaking! And Beechwood's pizza and burgers were the best! We will be back sometime soon.

The home was perfect! The house was spotless, the decor was lovely, and the mattress was comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was labeled so you don't have to look for items. The host was a superb communicator.

Great little place to spend a few days away with family.
A nice cozy place to relax and enjoy. You can really tell that Robin cares for her property. Robin is attentive and eager to make your stay enjoyable. Really impressed with her and her property. Just about anything you could need is there on site and in great condition.

Excellent getaway!
This was our third time staying in what my daughters call “the blue house”. This was our first place we went since pre-Covid times back in 2021, and now this house has become a staple for our family when we want a weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

Best spot for R&R
I am a Pastor from Montana and time away is not easy to come by. We had a conference in Indianapolis and decided to take a few days to visit some friends in Ohio. Glad we chose this place. It was comfortable, quiet and well stocked. Everything in the house was labeled which made finding what we needed easy. We will make this a stop anytime we are in the area. Awesome Stay!!!!

This cottage was so cute and perfectly convenient for Rocky Fork Lake or anything in the Hillsboro area. It was clean and cozy. My family loved it! The host was friendly and responsive, and the check in/out process was so easy!

Restful Retreat
This cottage was such a wonderful find! We loved that it had some many activities provided like fire pits, corn hole, kayaks, board games, DVD's, etc. It was perfect for our family's mini vacation. The beautiful decorating, cleanliness, and bright rooms added to our enjoyment. Also, we had a slight emergency with water leaking under the sink and the owners quickly dealt with it, communicating well, and with minimal impact to our family schedule. All of which we appreciated!

Cute and Cozy Cottage!
Such a nice place and amenities. Very clean and organized. The kitchen was well stocked, lots of board games and a nice big TV in the living room. The beds we’re comfortable and clean. The weather was beautiful and we came to fish on the lake so we didn’t spend much time in the cottage which was kind of a shame because it was such a nice place. We will be back!

Excellent in every way
Very happy with my stay. This is my 2nd year renting this home for my annual deer hunting trip and will be back next year! This rental has everything you need for your stay, all you have to bring is your supplies. Thank you Robin!

Cozy get away!
It's so bright and cheery inside! Two things that could be improved: It's humid inside the house even with the AC on. And the hot water for the shower runs out pretty quickly. But overall it is a fun little house for a relaxing getaway! It's cool that the lake is so easy to see and there's such easy access to it!

A peaceful getaway
This charming and immaculate home was the perfect place to relax and recharge! Robin was the perfect host - she was thoughtful and responsive. The home has everything you might need, and the decor is fantastic. What a nice neighborhood, all the neighbors wave to each other and are very friendly. A perfect weekend
From ease of booking and checking in to the warm welcome we received from our hosts to our last day, everything was perfect. This is the cutest and most perfect house for our weekend getaway. We loved the hiking trails at Rocky Fork state Park, kayaking around the Lake and seeing the sights (Serpent mound and the Amish stores and people). This was wonderful and Robin and her husband made everything easy and lovely.

Great weekend getaway!
The Blue Haven Cottage is a great little getaway near Rocky Fork State Park. This was our second time staying here, and my kids keep asking when we can go back to “the blue house”! Lots of family friendly activities to do nearby. Definitely recommend!

Our only complaint was that "life" wouldn't allow us to stay longer. The property was absolutely adorable and in a very quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood. Will be back for sure!!

Charming cottage and was a perfect location for our hiking and wildflower exploration weekend. Robin was very responsive to our needs. And we got to enjoy the firepit -- good times. I would love to stay again.

Place to stay while visiting family
Myself, Husband and two teenage children stayed here while visiting family. I was surprised to find such a well appointed and updated place to stay in such a rural area.
