"We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!"

"We were really impressed by the space and the setting of this home on the hill. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We played pool, walked the dirt country road, and our dog loved the fenced in yard. It's close to Mount Vernon, Kenyon College, Mohican Park, Kokosing Gap Trail, and several golf courses."

We all enjoyed riding in the kayaks and roasting marshmallows in the large fire pit right by the dock. We loved that this home felt like it was a rural retreat, but yet it was not too far removed from civilization. Super Walmart was only 15 minutes away and neighbors were close enough but not too close. We would definitely recommend...

"My daughter, her family and myself stayed at the lodge over the Christmas holiday. It was a wonderful experience. The lodge itself was beautiful and the petting zoo was a huge hit with my grandchildren. The animals were so friendly and the hands down winner was Humphrey the camel. If you like animals and the "country" life you will love this place."

We were all able to eat together, exchange gifts, watch movies and more. When desired, we could easily break off to go to a different sitting area.
