Had a lovely stay at this boutique hotel. The staff was excellent and the room was spotless and such a comfy bed! Would definitely stay there again. Also enjoyed the wine in the lobby each night from 4-6. The entire experience was very good!

We wanted a bed closish to the beaches without breaking the piggy bank and this place delivered! Luana is about 10 minutes walk north east of Kahanamoku Beach and bordering the pretty Fort DeRussy Beach Park. The facilities at the hotel were spacious and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Protea cafe just off the lobby is well worth a stop or three for breakfast also.

I've stayed here twice this year and have been pleased with both of my stays. The rooms are a bit small but are clean and the city & ocean views are amazing. The hotel is very close to shopping, restaurants, the beach, night clubs and bars as well as love entertainment. All within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying a week or less.

The Hotel Aqua Aloha is in an excellent position. Close to everything you need. The staff were great...polite and helpful. The hotel bar over the road was very noisy at night. We will definitely stay there again. The beds were very comfortable, just what you need after sightseeing all day. Only one complaint. We tried to book another 2 nights but were unable to, because the hotel was booked out. Now that says something in itself. All up, it was a great hotel and we enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed for nine nights in October. If you are coming to Waikiki book the Wave. It is just a three minute walk from the beach and one block from a great grocery store. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. You do have to pay a 15 dollar a night resort fee but it does get you towels for the beach, a shuttle to Ala Moana, and unlimited DVD rentals.
The rooms are a little dated but fine. The hotel is really quiet with pleasant balconies, a fridge, and a microwave for your snacks, and a table to sit at inside. The main way is hotel could improve would be to upgrade the showers which are very dingy and have almost no water pressure, which is annoying when you are showering off the sands from Waikiki beach. Overall I would say this is thte best deal it own and the perfect base for your beautiful Oahu holiday.

Excellant staff. Easy checkin. Kitchen stocked well with pots and pans (not the scratced up teflon ones). Clean bedding and bathroom facilities. My only complaint is it was a noisy room. Why would I come back? You can put earplugs in if you have a heavy sleeping companion. Or request a room on the ocean front. Having stayed in Waikiki many times, it was faster and easier to get to the beach than one of the high rises on the main drag. They have free rental of beach chairs and such. Healthy places to eat nearby, if you're so inclined. Can walk to biweekly farmers market two blocks away on Tues/thurs.

The location is pretty much the best there is, especially for this price. It's right in the middle of Waikiki, and if you're like me who wishes to try all the delicious restaurants in Waikiki each day, you're within walking distance of everything. It's also steps away from the Waikiki beach, and our room specifically has a nice view of the beach!
The room itself is very nice, there are huge windows giving you a panoramic view of Waikiki from the beach to the mountain side. The room includes basically a full kitchen (even though description says kitchenette) -- it has cooking stoves! Kitchen equipment are very resourceful.
Pool and hot tub are at the roof, which also has very nice views.
The Musubi Cafe Iyasume attached to the hotel is an excellent breakfast choice! I had breakfast there every day during my stay. Many different kinds of delicious musubis.
