We stayed a few days ago and after we checked-in, the room key didn’t work, so i have to go down to the check in counter again, for the second time the room key didn’t work again, they have to call security to change the batteries for the door lock. It took extra 30 minutes for us to go inside our room from the moment we arrived there

Loved this place the most out of the three other properties I’ve stayed at in Waikiki (The Ilikai and Marriott Beach Resort). Highly recommend the corner rooms in the Rainbow Tower.

We really enjoyed our stay. This was my second trip to the Hilton Hawiian Village. The grounds are amazing, clean and safe. Staff are all friendly and helpful. The location is nice as you can walk downtown for plenty of shopping and restaurants. The beach is absolutely beautiful.

We called several times to have our bathroom and tub cleaned as we wanted to take a bath. The tub was dirty and showed stans. They just came and made the beds and provided some more towels. We also upgraded to what was called a newly renovated building called the Tapa tower. It was not renovated and show signs of wear and age. So felt like we were missed lead by Hilton. I will not stay here again the price you pay is not wroth it

The beach area was not overcrowded. The hotel room was cleaned regularly . Could go shopping for any needs quickly, There were people available for information at the entrance to our tower, the fireworks were right there. Great to get Uber rides. Good walking exercise to get to the shopping area of Waikiki

the front desk personnel at Ali tower is not very helpful nor is knowledgeable about the area; towel personnels are mostly younger people who are more interested in talking to ttheir colleagues or are on their phones; filipino housekeeping however is very polite and courteous

Overall, we had a great experience! There were some cosmetic issues noticed around the resort (dents/scuffs in walls, etc). The shower had issues maintaining temperature, and the furniture was older and not very modern. Additionally, the staff did not make us aware that the Ala Wai Boat Launch parking lot behind the resort only charged $1 an hour for parking. Instead, the hotel charged us $69 a night for parking. If staying here, save the money and park at the boat launch!

We were dealing with cigar smell in our room for two days and nothing was done to resolve the problem. All was offered was the resort fees. The smell was around the room and we couldn’t relax in the room. We would Appreciate a more substantive refund or stay.

I stayed in the Tapa Tower and every night there is live music that is played in the Tapa Bar downstairs. The music was extremely loud as it echoes and bounces around the buildings and can easily be heard inside the rooms that are facing away from the band. If I had small children staying there I would have been upset that the music was so loud every night. On weekends fine but every night you will hear the wailing of the music and the boisterous people yelling and screaming at the bar.

Moldy HVAC vents right above where people eat in the restaurant. My parents room had a leak in it and the carpet was completely soaked upon check-in. They did not even offer to move rooms. My AC was noisy and kept me up at night. Extremely limited hours for dining. It’s hard to get breakfast before 8 o’clock anywhere. Maid service was subpar. I still had a dirty bathroom floor And sheets after they came and cleaned. Difficult to exchange or return pool towels, as the hours are also limited at those shacks. The front desk refuses to give out maps of the property and when you do get your hands on a map it is very vague And doesn’t even have any restaurants Or shops listed. Purchased a Friday night Luau on the great lawn and ended up being Moved inside when there wasn’t even weather, not to mention, the food was garbage and not at all worth the $200 pp you pay. I could go on and on and on about how I’ll never stay at another Hilton again.

The hotel room was horrible. The shower didn't work and maintenance was fixing it. They had to come back and forth to fix the valve. The hotel should have switched our room!

Everything about the hotel was excellent. Evening entertainment was a hit. Just don’t hang clothes out on balcony to dry. lol they will blow away and unable to recover.
