Schönes toll umgebautes Hotel am Hafen von Horta. Sehr gut lärmisolierende Fenster perfektes Raumklima. Verbesserungen sind beim Frühstück möglich. Ein Hotel das sich lohnt

Although there is much to like about this property, it is far from perfect. But I gave it four stars due to the location, which is wonderful and in the heart of the city, very close to everything. But that is also the problem, this hotel can be extremely noisy at night when cars and motorbikes are whizzing by. And the best rooms, those facing the harbor, have the most noise. We found it quite difficult to fall asleep at night. That said, the room was lovely, very nicely decorated and the staff was friendly but not exceptionally well trained. For example, one staff member entered our room without permission while we were napping on the beds! Although he did knock first, I didn't hear him because I was wearing noise-cancelling headphones (see above). There are no deadbolts or manual locks to keep people from entering like this and you have to use your key to exit the room, which would be illegal in the US. He apologized but went on to explain at length that somebody had reported a "problem" in the room. All while my wife and I were laying on the beds! Very unprofessional, although I'm sure this is not an everyday occurrence. In conclusion, the hotel looks great, the rooms are lovely but quite noisy at times and the staff is friendly but not well-trained. Still, because of the rooms and location I'll give it a 4.

Beautifully restored/ amazing views
I had known this place from childhood and I was so happy to see all the work that was out into keeping a lot of the original details. This is a gem with an amazingly beautiful view of the Marina/ bay and gardens. I was extremely satisfied with all of it and hope to be back someday. Wish the French doors opened to the balcony, but nonetheless it’s very well done. Congratulations 👏

Our stay here was wonderful! We had the perfect room, with a view of the harbor and Mount Pico. Our room was large, and very elegant with 3 floor to ceiling windows, and tastefully furnished. The hotel had that old world charm we were wanting. The harbor was across the street, and easy walking to town attractions. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent and very reasonable. The front desk staff was very friendly and offered recommendations for sightseeing, and restaurant staff also very good with excellent service. I think this hotel had the perfect location and the view was unsurpassed. I would definitely recommend it!

I loved the whole place! Room was comfortable with a great view. Breakfast was just right. Location could t be better and the view was exquisite. Staff was amazing. What a great place!

Great stay!!
This hotel is recently opened and has a central location in “downtown” Horta. It has a nice combination of older architecture mixed with modern furnishings. The staff is very friendly!

This is a new hotel. Great spot and lovely rooms and decor. The breakfast was very disappointing but the staff was very helpful and friendly.

super hôtel
Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Accueil tardif, notre ferry est arrivé à 2h du matin.. le propriétaire nous a donné la chambre « La Frégate » en référence au français Paulin de Paris, petite attention super! Nous n’avions pas de petit déjeuner buffet, certainement à cause des suivre COVID mais l’hôtel est super! Merci

Bonjour Honnêtement, vous vous êtes comporté très mal, vous vous êtes enfui sans payer de notre hôtel, le pire avait cette attitude avec votre femme et vos deux plus jeunes enfants. Il devrait avoir honte de son attitude irresponsable. Le réceptionniste devait se rendre au bateau où il partait sans avoir payé le logement et demander à la police de recouvrer le montant de sa dette. Vous avez demandé une grande pièce où vous pourriez loger votre famille. Au début, lorsque vous avez fait votre réservation, vous avez omis de dire la vérité quand vous aviez l’âge de vos enfants. Vous avez donc agi de mauvaise foi et je ne veux plus vous voir dans notre hôtel. Salutations La gestion

Reformado y céntrico, lo tiene todo para ser un lugar con encanto, pero falla estrepitosamente en otras cosas, como el desayuno, o cosas tan curiosas como tener que pedir prestado el secador de pelo... y no siempre está disponible.
