Cons: Room safes should automatically be in all rooms. More towels when two are in room (included 3, but there should be 4 each day)
I stayed July 8-12 while my son was at the Manning Passing Academy at Nicholls University just down the road. The location of this resort couldn't have been better to allow me to come and go as I needed to. It was very close to the major grocery store where I picked up a few things for the fridge. Love the "free dinner" Monday-Thursday, and breakfast was also included so definitely saved a few dollars on food while there. The pool was very nice and had lots of chairs/loungers. The staff went out of their way to accommodate, you just had to ask if you needed anything. On the first day I went to the front desk to ask if I could store my passport in their safe since there wasn't one in the room ... a hotel guy overheard my conversation and advised that they just got 50 room safes and could put one in my room right away. That was great, however I felt that all hotel rooms should always have a safe in the room to begin with. Hopefully that is what they were planning. Needed a late checkout so my son could shower after his last workout at the football camp before we headed to the airport, that was no problem at all and they said to take as much time as needed. One morning took an easy 30 min drive north out of town to the Oak Valley Plantation and had a great tour for a couple of hours ($20).

Top sauber, alles in Ordnung, sehr freundlicher Service.

Cons: A smoking area should be defined, away from the rooms.
Check in was slow - seemed like the Expedia reservation was confusing. Pool area was pretty, breakfast was good. Smoke from parking lot came in under the door.

Comfortable and friendly.Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff and nice laundry facility. Dinner is included M-Th (I think).
Location: Plantations, swamp tours, distillery and brewery nearby plus an excellent Jean Lafitte Nature Center for boat ride & lunch (schedule ahead).
Great location for activities. Rouse's grocery store is wonderful for a quick lunch.
