excellent hotelPosted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: I like that every time we stay we are treated with the utmost respect and hospitality.
Cons: There is a high pitched hum that comes from the air/heat that could be tweaked, other than that the hotel is excellent.
Location: Thibodaux is a beautiful area of south east Louisiana. The hotel allows the universities culinary school to run a fabulous bistro out of the hotel.
The hotel staff is very accommodating. I know they are working on updating and every time we stay there things seem to be getting better. We stay there frequently because our son attends the University in Thibodaux. They are very friendly and service oriented.

Great location, good restaurants near by.Posted Sep 8, 2013
Location: Just north on Hwy 1 is the Old Foundry Restaurant. Great burgers, cold beer and a great view from the balcony.
Much better breakfast than the much more expensive Inns I have stayed in. I highly recommend this Inn.

Room had strong mold smell to it. Old furnishings.Posted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: There was nothing to like.
Cons: More realistic room information and less intrusion on privacy during check-in.
Location: Would not recommend venturing to neighborhood as I did not feel safe during stay.
Hotel located in questionable area, did not feel safe. Had emergency and had to leave before entire stay completed. Would not recommend or stay at this hotel again. Staff unsympathetic to my concerns. Check-in policy / procedure too noisy. Wanted to know too much of my personal information for my comfort (car make & model, license, date of birth, valid drivers license, etc.). Not the information I am used to providing when traveling.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was just great and our kids had a blast in it. The breakfast was really nice. The town was a pleasure as well and we hope to be back!

If hindsight were 20/20, we would have stayed our entire trip there. Clean, comfortable rooms. Beautiful pool area. Smack dab in the middle of anything you need, yet located just off the main drag. Recommended to family and friends already!

Nice hotel near center of town.Posted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: The bed, frige and microwave. Also wi fi access.
Cons: Maids banging on door right at 11:00 AM,saying "Check out is at 11:00."
Location: Plenty of restaurants close and a shopping center.
This was my second stay and the staff is very nice.I am 78 years old and travel by myself, therefore I cannot take my luggage, etc. up stairs,so I requested a lower floor room which I received this time.I haven't traveled much in the last 2 yrs but this is the 1st place I have stayed that didn't provide a shower cap, naturally I hadn't brought one.I will be traveling to this city often as my children and grandchildren live there and I am shopping for a home there.
