“Very helpful Staff”

When I could not access an email server I needed, the staff offered me access to their office computer so I could complete my work. I was grateful. My telephone, however, could not connect me with the front desk when I needed to contact them later that day.

“I'll use it again, but only beccause its convienient”

The drop down window gives the choice for "smoking/non-smoking room, but this is a non-smoking hotel, i also asked for a king bed, got a twin bed room, don't need two beds, don't drink the bottle water, to expensive, not going to do that again, its ok, good location, shuttle service is very good, friendly, staff at hotel are very nice, breakfast is on the "high" side, but the buffet is very good.

“Old and noisy hotel”

It's an old and noisy hotel and very slow service in the restaurant. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Area recommendations

Omni hotel in the Galleria area. Much better value for your money and a better surrounding neighborhood.

However, we are located coveniently near George Bush Intercontinental Airport and offer free shuttles to and from the airport unlike that of Hotels in the Galleria Area.

“Very relaxing :)”

Booked this hotel on Expedia at the last moment. We were going to visit family in Houston and this hotel was very convienient. We had a wonderful stay and the room was perfect! Nice comfortable bed and staff was so helpful .. we had no problems. We will book here again in the future.

“No Hot Water”

The hot water system at the Sheraton North Houston at George Bush Intercontinental had been out of service for several days and I was not told about the lack of hot water when I checked in. When I spoke to the manager of the Sheraton North Houston at George Bush Intercontinental; bout the issue, he showed no concern to my issue. Additionally the Sheraton North Houston at George Bush Intercontinental provide no free internet service which lower tier hotels provide. My opinion of the Sheraton North Houston at George Bush Intercontinental is very unfavorable.

“Convenient to airport and inner and outer suburbs”

The hotel is very convenient to IAH and to the major roads that lead downtown or to the beltway suburbs. It's a little challenging sometimes exiting the hotel onto JFK Boulevard due to the high volume of traffic, but it's a matter or adding an extra minute or two to your departure time. Downtown is about 25 minutes; eastern beltway ring about 30 minutes (depending on traffic); The Woodlands is about 25 minutes north. Nearby airport sounds are muffled, plenty of lobby computers for printing boarding passes or checking email. Plenty of places to park. I had a late arrival and early departure and had meetings scattered around the Houston area, so this property actually made geographic sense. I was at the terminal having dropped off the rental car only 15 minutes after leaving the hotel for the airport.

“Not impressed”

The room aircondiotner was very difficult to adjust satisfactorily and keep at a steady temperature. I travel about 26 days out of the month,staying most frequently in an extended stay rated much lower than this hotel,and the extended stay was far superior in comfort than this hotel This hotel even provided guests with an outside contractor for internet service through a major nationwide ISP telecom that was available for 9.95 a day. My extended stay home away from home and every other hotel I've stayed at in the last 5 years provides this fre the same as local phone service. The room had ben recently painted - incompletely- it was left unpainted in the corners at the ceiling in the room entry way. Bottled water was provided for you conveninece- at $2/bottle which wasnt just abundantly clear till you received a bill under your door in the morning. 4.5 star- sorry- very nice,comfortable clean beds,top notch courtersy and respect from the staff- but I think overall it's about a star and a half over rated. Particulay if you had to pay full rate for it not on an Expedia weekend special

“Weekend Stopover”

Great hotel located near the airport. Fabulous pool area, plenty of computers available for use, courteous staff, convenient shuttle to the airport, free USA Today, water & coffee in the room. My only complaint was not being able to adjust the A/C in the room. It was either freezing or I had to turn it completely off. Tried adjusting the temp and it didn't seem to make any difference.
