"Very nice appartment in Hvar"
We received a very nice welcome from the owner. He is very knowlageable on what to see on the island since he is native from Hvar. Nice and quiet, this appartment is within walking distance from the main strip. Yes, Hvar is now a jet-setters destination, so it has a mainstrip where everybody goes to watch and be seen.

"Best guesthouse we stayed at in Croatia!"
Would recommend this apartment in a heart beat and we will definitely stay here again when we return to Hvar. Teo was a great host.Location: a bit up a hill, 10 min to be exact, but if you enjoy some exercise like us, that'll be pleasant. We arrived the hard way. Got off the boat and went right, then up some steps and through streets. Eventually we found the place, it was hard because streets did not have names and we used a google map to deduct where to go. Teo welcomed us with an ice cold beer to drink. Turns out that he could have picked us up from the old town center not far from the ferry. Learn from us- get off the ferry and call him directly using his phone number provided though booking. I'd you don't have a phone that works in Croatia, the you can find the tourist center near the ferry and ask them to call. Apartment: we stayed in the first apartment, which is right off the entance steps. We loved it! Nice bath, bedroom, small and cozy kitchen, which had all the things you need for cooking, even wine and beer openers. Plus, some oil and spices to get you going. The highlight was the terrace, we ate all the meals there. So cozy with lights at nights. There is also a bucket and a drying rack. They offer machine wash at 70 kuna, which is about $12 usd. Hvar itself: the old town is small but cute. Some restaurants, pubs, stores. We tried going to Mlini and Parmizana beaches via taxi boats, so worth it! Wish we stayed more than 3 nights to check out other islands.

"Nice hotel would stay again."
Was a nice hotel with newly renovated rooms that were very spacious. The hotel has a good restaurant that is basically on the beach and serves really nice food. There are also a few other small restaurants next to the hotel so you can have a choice. The breakfast was really good with a fantastic selection of food and nice to sit on the beach and eat of a morning. The hotel is in a quiet area about 10 minutes from Hvar in a little place called Milna, which makes everything accessible. We had our two children and they were able to provide everything we needed including a crib and baby chair. Would also recommend people to drive on the old road between Hvar and Stari Grad. It is a slightly narrow road, but has very little traffic and some really nice smaller towns and fantastic views.

"Fantastic View"
We stayed for 2 nights in a water view room and if was fantastic. I liked the location, the view, the large room, the breakfast and I must mention the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Others have commented on the live music played in the bar downstairs but I can honestly say I could only just hear it with sound proof windows shut and aircon on. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again

"great for being in the heart of things"
I could not fault this hotel. Fantastic location, use of the sister hotel's pool, clean, tidy, chic etc. The staff were amazing and breakfast delicious. The only thing I would say is that if you like your sleep, this is not the hotel for you. in between the Jazz played during the day (interrupted my nap#, the revellers walking past to the nightclub next door #quitened down at 3am) and then the boats leaving/being cleaned from 5am, I did not get a lot of sleep. This might suit some, but I was relieved for some peace and quiet when checking out.

"clean friendly cheap accommodation for young peeps"
Very clean accommodation. Staff was very helpful they even picked us up from our bus after getting the late ferry when we arrived. Its about a 10 min walk into the town centre. Great value for money but not a relaxing place to hang out if u want a rest. Because of the price you must expect younger people to stay there so it has a more hostel feel. But for the price this hotel was great. We also stayed at "villa nora" which I think is quite nice for location privacy and comfort.

Pocket Guide: Hvar Island, Split Family Hotels

This 68-kilometre long island lies a two-hour ferry ride from the mainland port of Split. Very popular with the yachting crowd, it’s known for its lavender fields, vineyards and old Venetian-style stone buildings. Hvar Town is home to a 16th-century cathedral, a hilltop castle, and a marble paved piazza ringed with trendy cocktail bars and seafood eateries. Several of the nearby Pakleni Islets (accessible by taxi-boat) are devoted to nudism.
