What is not clear from the Hotels website is that this is a self-check-in with all contact with the host through text (though they are available should you need them) and no room servicing through your stay, so you have to realise what you're signing up for. Having said that - very clean, admirably white linens, everything you'd need in a well-thought--out and spacious though cosy room in a pretty and traditional house. The village itself is attractive, and the house is well-situated for shops, pub, marina, parking and (steep hill) train station. It's also a good base for exploring with good road and rail connections.

The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and there were good choice of teas and coffees in the room. Ordering breakfast by text was strange but there was a wide variety of options which could be eaten in the bedroom. The key code confirmed by text was efficient, safe and easy to operate.

Great short stay
Room size excellent, also large ensuite although shower door narrow. Bedrooms on first floor not ideal for people with mobility issues. Breakfast excellent but, was surprised to see brooche bun for breakdast bap.

Very comfortable room - clean and well decorated with good shower room - close to station and Main St. Helpful owners. The only downside is that breakfast options are limited and is taken in the bedroom which may not suit everybody.

A little gem
This is a wonderful guest house, the room was a good size and very comfortable. Breakfasts were ordered each night and promptly served to our room at the time requested. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
