The Pub 500 yards up the road has the same name which is a bit confusing when you are looking for the Guest House. Overall good standard. I do like my shower to have a bit more force. Meet and greet was in-depth explaining all you needed to know.

Forest of all, we received a reminder message few day before our stay, that was perfect. Secondly we were late check in but staff (Kelly?) was very kind to help us to get a room key and hotel direction etc. Room is perfect for family with 2 kids.

Excellent - comfortable with friendly, helpful service, Very good choice at breakfast. Close to bus routes into Town and railway station. All in all a very good experience.

The place and service was great as usual, the only thing I didn't like was that the heating stoped from 11pm to 6.30am and I felt cold as it was really cold outside. Hopefully it will get solved out.

Nice stay at the Old Times GH
Very convenient for our family visit. Its a converted old street corner pub and the bar is a nice added extra. Breakfasts were excellent and large! Very friendly and helpful landlady. Wifi was not too good and kept dropping out but perhaps our room - in the furthest corner was unusual.

Was comfortable, but we stayed in "George's" room which was at the front of the upper floor and the road noise was noticeable, I would recommend asking for one of the rooms further in the back.

First visit to Ipswich. Kelly was very helpful, a very good host and a provider of an excellent breakfast which we were able to enjoy in a cheerful and private outside eating area. The evening meal menu looked good, although as we were attending a family wedding, we did not try it. The room was bright, clean and comfortable with a large en-suite shower room. Will happily stay again
