Great Location, Walking distance to the Blue Mosque, and downtown area.
Room was clean, Breakfast was good, staff was nice and helpful.
Definitely recommend it.
The place is very old had smell that can’t get rid of after opening the window, Aircon don’t work, it wasn’t what I expected… bad condition this hotel, breakfast was excellent and the staff
Great location walking distance for all main attractions. Helpful, friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. Metin and Erhan were very helpful in so many ways. This made our trip easier and smoother. I will not hesitate to recommend this place to stay.
It is a really good hotel right in the middle of Laleli, just a walk from Grand Bazaar. It was clean, spacious and well maintained although not very easy to get there first time: had to walk steep down the cobblestone street with a suitcase. I didn’t know I could request them to pick me up when I arrived but they have a special cart for transporting their guests up and down the hill. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast provided in a nearby sister hotel. On the way back the staff has kindly brought me close to my station since the trams broke that day. The only thing that could improve my stay would be having some amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste.
My experience was an utter shambles.
I was originally relocated to another hotel on arrival where I stayed for two days.
The hotel management then had space to accommodate me and return to this hotel. I had a room where you could hear all the running water so made for poor sleep.
Additional there was water coming down from the ceiling in the bathroom when it it rained.
Fabulous location, nice breakfast, very helpful staff. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. I’d highly recommend this hotel as an excellent value.
We highly recommend this hotel. We were upgraded to a family suite which was a large room. The breakfast included was excellent. The staff were very helpful and informative. We had dinner there one night and throughly enjoyed it. Being a family run hotel, it was homely. Spectra Hotel is next to Sultanahmet Square which is walkable to everything. Surprisingly it was a quiet area at night for sleeping.
I always stay at the Spectra Hotel when I am in central Istanbul. I have never been dosapointed in the value I receive.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
The receptionist tried to sell you substandard tours. The AC control was at the reception and they shut off AC in the middle of the night. The bathroom was so small the blankets and pillows were not enough
Nice clean hotel the reception was very helpful and our room was ready right away.We check out very early and the manager arranged us sandwich to go.The only complaint me that I have was our room was in the busy noisy street didn’t sleep the whole night.
The hotel is in a great location, close to the main square and main attractions.
The rooms are very clean and have everything you need.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Good breakfast.
They offer transfer.
We really enjoyed.
The entire stay has been wonderful. The people at the hotel and restaurant are kind and helpful. The property is in a busy area making the people watching from the tables outside ideal. The room and bath was recently redone making it very comfortable. Sorry to be leaving so soon.
The owner heads the front desk. He is wonderful and very welcoming. The entrance also has the restaurant. Everyone was amazing. I can not stress this enough. Everyone is always willing to help or guide. All staff are amazing! The hotel has a great location to walk to the historical sites in Sultanahmed neighborhood. As a tourist, this is definitely where you want to be. The rooms are practical and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but definitely comfortable. The Tram is a short walk away. I really can’t stress this enough, everyone at the hotel and restaurant were super friendly and attentive(without being overbearing). Highly recommend.
Spectra hotel is located only couple minutes away from major attractions.
Breakfast is amazing, stuff is friendly and helped us with transfer to the airport and stored bags for us.
We will definitely come back!

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel as offered on your website the best part of the hotel is the 2 men that worked at the front desk daily they were super nice and very helpful during our stay.. The hotel itself is a 2 -1/2 to 3 star at best.
The hotel was good for the price. Not very spacious but not very petite either. Location was great, close to the attractions as well as the Grand Bazaar. Food at the hotel was good as well, plenty of options on their in-house lunch & dinner menu as well. Concierge services were decent with guidance and some attraction options

Amazing staff, great breakfast and beautiful strategic location!!!!
Hotel Spectra is a hidden gem whose proximity to World’s historic monuments in combination with fantastic customer service provided by Erhan, Deniz, and Metin, will beat any brand name hotel hands down. Food was simply fantastic. Not much more to say except that we plan on returning back during our next stay in Istanbul.
Great little hotel in an unbeatable location. The room was very comfortable, tastefully furnished and surprisingly quite given it's on a busy street. The location is amazing, steps away from the Blue Mosque and walkable Hagia Sofia and a famous castle. There are numerous dining options and the food at the hotel restaurant was amazing.
The staff is super cool and treats you like family, do not hesitate to ask them for advice activities and shopping. A special thanks to the night manager Hasan who was always willing to serve me a cup of tea, a glass of wine or a snack when I took a break from work which ended at 2 am. It was also great to have someone to chat with. I recommend and will return next time I'm in Istanbul
Very nice hotel- conveniently close to The Blue Mosque . Room was small but very clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast.Would definitely stay here again.
Merin was very nice, making sure the guests feel at home and helped us with our tours. We also like the location, it’s close to everything. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and families.

Metin was very friendly and nice, he greeted us warmly when we checked in, and he helped us booked our tour. Breakfast was good.
I like the location, convenient to everything. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and families.
Overall a fairly decent hotel centrally located. Hotel is clean and staff friendly and helpful. The downside was the bathroom is very, very small and breakfast can be better.
Unbeatable location. Stepping out of the hotel into one of the most well known historical environments in the world.
The history there is astounding.
The hotel itself is decent, the staff very nice and accommodating. The restaurant with outside tables is quite good.
The bed was decent and I honestly can't complain for the pricepoint.
Exceptional location, steps away from interesting places to see, things to do, restaurants, cafes. Warm, friendly, gracious, welcoming and accommodating staff. Great sleep.
The rooms are pretty small, especially bathroom. It was extremely hot and the AC didn’t work. We did figure out how to turn the heat off, but still it was pretty hot and we had to sleep with open windows the whole time. There was some mold on the shower hose and we found some stuff on the floor under the bedside table that wasn’t ours, so we guessed it was from the previous guests. We also had to go and ask for soap and shampoos as it wasn’t renewed and after we were given 4 of each, it was taken away the next day by the room service. The area is good and it’s walkable distance away from some major attractions. The breakfast was good. And the reception staff is friendly and helpful.
A great place to stay in Istanbul. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The terrace on the top is great with excellent views and we had our dinner served there. Will definitely come back here.
