Property is old, dirty, out dated and smells like smoke. The tub had chipped pieces in several spots. The chairs in the room we're stained. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in in a very long time.

Staff was all amazing. Beds slept well. Property is being renovated and overdue for that. Hallways and elevators were extremely dirty from the construction. Homeless were apparent in the area and they lock the even the front door at night bc of this. It was ok for the one night stay like we did but I wouldn’t stay for a vacation there until the renovations were done at least.

Requested an ADA wheelchair room. If our room was considered accessible, the beds were too high and the placement of the toilet paper holder was terrible for both a walker or wheelchair. Also renovations were not complete in the room, and we were not told it would be under renovation while we were there.

I would stay at this hotel again but not until 2025. It is under renovation and there were issues. I am understanding of construction dust, but that's not all we encountered. Here's the lowdown: Good - staff was friendly, parking plentiful, convenient location, nice breakfast, comfortable bed. Bad - security (side door left open during the day for construction workers and not once asked for my ID), room had lingering cigarette smoke odor, room was not as clean as I would have liked, not enough towels*, no lids for coffee cups at breakfast, A/C unit started smelling like it was burning on our last morning there, key access cut off before 11 am when checkout is at noon. *Regarding towels, we were short a washcloth. I asked for one at the front desk, and they said they had ordered some but they had not been delivered yet. They gave me one that was clean but stained. While eating breakfast, I heard another guest complaining about not having towels. Make me wonder if they're not getting any new until the reno is done.

The reserved and fully paid for room was not available at 3:00pm for check in. We were told there were *no* rooms available. At 3:30 we got into our room, and told there are *no* towels in the hotel. We had no hand soap, no wash cloths, no hand towels and no bath towels… we were given a “left over towel” from another room while it was being cleaned just so we had ONE towel. The next day we’re given two pool towels since there were still *no* bath towels. Ridiculous. The bed had stains. Positive side- no bugs.

Worst place i ever stayed
It was terrible from the beginning. i pulled up and went inside. The receptionist wasnt very friendly at all. She acted like it i was bothering her. On the site it said there was limited room service. come to find out there was none at all. Got to the room it was a handicap room which i didn't need. the shower was terrible. it was my wife's birthday and i wanted it to be special but that didn't happen. We ended up leaving around 4 am. We didn't even stay there 12 hours it was so bad.

I’m very disappointed in this hotel! The staff is incredibly nice but the actual hotel is not. The rooms are absolutely disgusting. I had to be changed into another room due to how awful the shower and toilet were! The room I went into was a little better but the shower didn’t drain, hair was all in the shower and the lounge in the room was stained all over and the carpets are stained with who knows what. For 150$ a night I expect more than red roof inn quality. Don’t stay here if you can help it. Very confused as the ratings are very good on Expedia.

The reception charged parking twice
The reception charged parking twice for the same car against two separate rooms we had booked. While checking in, we clearly told her that we have one car, and she gave only one dashboard slip. But still, for both the rooms, the parking fee was added, which is not good.

Upon checking in, we were asked to come back in 30 minutes because there were no key cards available despite having a checkin time of 3pm. 30 minutes later when we were able to enter our room, the bed was stripped of all linens with them located in the corner on a chair. Staff did accommodate the linens after we had asked, however, this is unacceptable after paying for a nice place to stay.

This is the worst Hampton hotel that I ever stayed in, it was so terrible, the toilet had a rustic ring around the seat inside, the floors/carpet were terrible dirty, the closets door were broken, the elevators were very dirty, the place smell was very old, I got there after 7 hours of driving just to spend one night so I can continue driving the next day, I was so tired that I didn’t say anything bc I wanted to wait for the next morning to complain about it, I asked to talk to the manager bc I wanted a refund, she told me that there was nothing she could do about and there were other people complaining about the same thing, I have pictures so I can prove that I’m saying the truth and I’m gonna Call corporate or anyone that can give me my money back

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! We stayed on the Christmas day here while visiting JAX. Horrible/No Room Service even after requesting multiple times for help (Had to clean our own room and bathroom and get towels from front desk), drilling and construction noises coming from other rooms during the first day of stay, room looked like a roadside inn room with broken lamp shade, run down furniture and dirty carpets. Front desk did not take any action on our complaints or requests, told us manager is not available when asked for senior management to escalate too.

The room was disgusting. It didn’t look like the bathroom has been cleaned since the Hotel was originally opened. The toilet had a black ring around it and there was mold and grime in the shower. There were stains all over the floors through out the room. The furniture in our room was so stained and dirty. The AC in the room was in pieces but seemed to work just enough to not make us miserable but it was very loud. I was fooled into booking this room due to the great reviews here but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Didn't know it when I booked this reservation, but the hotel is undergoing renovations. With this, I wouldn't recommend staying here until they are done. Pictures are just an example but overall, very disappointed with this stay. Very rundown - mold, stains, coils in the bed straight to your back, etc. Also, with the renovations, people working nightshifts or requiring to work from the hotel during the day... be aware that work with the associated loud noises (banging, etc.) goes from 9AM-6PM. I'm sure this hotel will be nice once renovated but definitely not recommended right now. For as much as you'll pay to stay here... not worth it!

This property in under renovation. This was not mentioned anywhere. Room carpet was dirty, toilet was stained and dirty and there were crumbs in my bed. Hotel staff was rude, unfriendly. Ice machines were broken on my floor and they charge you additional for parking. This was not mentioned anywhere either. I had to pick up a hand held phone receiver to get access into lobby as it was after hours. The idea of holding a phone to my mouth was disgusting as this phone was out there for anyone on the street to touch. This is not acceptable since so much has been changed due to Covid. Who wants to put a phone receiver to their mouth?? I would never have stayed here if I knew about the renovations and will never stay here again.

Location was good. Good news … TV worked, sheets clean, hot water. Bad News … for $330/ night … Noise from A/C, squeal from exhaust fan, rust on tub drain, rude staff, cursing by staff, building under remodel with hammering and drilling… My wife wanted to leave but I talked her into staying for 2 days. Good thing we just used the room to shower and sleep. We used a neighboring hotel for breakfast. Good thing we have a sense of humor. And good thing the Bengals beat the Jaguars.

When we got to the hotel the front desk lady was not very nice to us. But the real issue started when we entered our room. The carpet had stains, the chair was ripped and also had stains on it, the bath tub had stains and the drain was broken, and the toilet was also stained. The room did not feel well cleaned at all. If we hadn't gotten to the hotel so late I probably would not have stayed there.
