"This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. The views of the river are so soothing, and the neighborhood deliciously quiet. The owners were responsive & helpful when we ran into an internet problem. Kitchen is minimal but I didn't go there to cook ;-) We had fun exploring the nearby towns (Bath and Washington) and the wildlife reserves, but the best part was just sitting on the deck and breathing."

"The Bungalow is well laid out, spacious, well furnished and in a fantastic location for exploring Edenton. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed to be able to eat some of our meals at home. We enjoyed the little screened in porch, too. It is definitely a well designed living space and we hope to be able to come back for a longer visit sometime soon."

Only caveat- like most houses of this age, HVAC is an issue. "Rented the property for my daughter’s graduation from ECU. So glad we picked this tranquil spot to stay rather than the city! The house has lots of space, the kitchen is well stocked with essentials, and the view from the living room is spectacular! Most of our time was spent sitting in the yard just talking! Enjoyed sun rises on the pier and some fishing, even though the fish weren’t biting much!"
