Good hotel to stay at if you have your own car.

Cons: Shuttle Availability
The hotel itself is pleasing. The receptionist was pleasing. The morning shuttle driver was pleasing. The evening shuttle driver never showed up one night, even though I called ahead and would have arrived before the last shuttle was supposed to be available - 9pm. Called at 8:35 from Penn Station, telling the hotel I needed a 9pm shuttle, was told "OK". Arrived at the shuttle pick up location at 8:55pm, no shuttle. Waited until 9:20pm before calling the hotel to ask if the shuttle was ever going to show up, was told they would call the driver again. At 9:40pm I gave up and took a taxi to the hotel. It ended up costing me $30 more that night because I needed to pay for a taxi from the train station. I stayed here to SAVE money people!!

Nice hotel

Pros: This hotel was a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable to stay in. I really loved the blueberry muffins for breakfast!
Cons: The hotel staff could be more attentive. We waited for some time before someone showed up at the front desk. Breakfast could be better but it was ok
Location: The location is great!! It is near an amusement park or carnival. It's also near and convenient to NYC.
This hotel was a great stay. The staff was friendly but it took some time before someone got to the front desk. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Completely Satisfied

Pros: 5 minutes away from the MetLife Sports Complex
Cons: Driving instructions to the hotel. We had to enter the Shereton's address into the GPS, in order to find your location.
Location: We went to Walmart. It is open 24 hours.
Wow! What a great spacious room for a weekend stay. The full kitchen was a nice addition for saving money on food. I loved that the hotel was 5 minutes from the sports' complex. I enjoyed my stay with a good night's sleep. I was thoroughly satisfied.

Minimal Service Hotel

Posted May 23, 2014
If you don't mind DIY,this will be a good choice in comparison with the Hilton, the other side of the fence competitor which will charge 50% more. However, if it is the sale pitch, the hotel should provide more local info to help resident to find living necessities, a directory so to speak will be better than that from online search. Also a no smoking with 30 feet of the building will help. On May 22, my sleep was interrupted twice due to false alarms. I was told that someone smoking close to the entrance and set off the alarm. That is annoying.

not bad

Posted May 22, 2014
Pros: proximity to manhattan. Safe area. close to shopping mall. Kitchen.
Cons: cleansiness. prompt response by front desk.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Proximity to Manhattan is great. Also safe clean area and walmart and other shopping is near by. I wouldn't call this place a hotel. its more of an apartment building. Whenever i called front desk, they would never pick up. i got forwarded to a call answering service and they left message for front desk but never received a call back. Its not a 'fully-equipped' kitchen like they advertise it to be. There were only 2 cups, 2 forks, 2 spoons, 1 pan, 1 pot and 2 plates and bowls. No dishwasher. no dish soap or other utensils, or more plates. Room was not clean, there was dust all over. They still had their cleaning sprays and window screen shield, so they were probably rushed and didn't do a good job. Shuttle service to Seacaucus junction was limited during the day(only during rush hours) and on sunday the latest coming back was at 3pm which is stupid if you are in Manhattan late.

Probably not worth the price. The free breakfast is a joke.
