A wonderful ne addition to Jim Thorpe. The hotel is in the center of downtown. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms of the renovated Y were refreshing and comfortable.

Loved our stay. The staff was great and the building is really nice with lots of character and very clean. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Parking on site. Perfect spot for walking the town. Highly recommend staying here. This will be our go to anytime we are in Jim Thorpe.

Met the owner as we were checking in. You can tell how much love has gone into preserving this building as he took us on a mini tour. The staff is very friendly. The building was beautifully restored and some original pieces were repurposed within the facility. A must stay as well as a do again.

The Y Hotel rooms were completely remodeled less then 6 months ago, the rest of the hotel was left alone showing the old charm architecture as it was back in 1884 as a YMCA. This is a great place that I would go back to anytime I’m in the Pocono Mountains.

My husband and I wanted a quiet spring getaway, and the Y was absolutely perfect! The rooms are renovated, clean, and modern, while the heritage of the historic building is clearly carefully maintained. The staff was very accommodating, and even let us bring our bikes up to our room because it was going to rain overnight. Small touches like free breakfast and coffee until 11, a filtered water bottle refill station, and free water bottles made the stay even more comfortable. There is also a spa in house that I highly recommend!

We had a sisters trip and it was perfect, our room was adorable and so clean! The beds were super comfy too!! The staff were so welcoming and friendly and always willing to help with anything. The location was perfect to walk anywhere in town and we even had massages at the attached wellness studio. The town itself is so quaint, all the little shops and restaurants. The only thing I would change about the hotel is to offer a place outside to sit. I’m an early riser so I usually read in the mornings, I would have loved a balcony on my room (but I didn’t see that as an option for two queen beds) or even just anywhere accessible on the building would have been nice. I ended up sitting on the front steps of the building which was ok but a chair would have been absolutely perfect! After my morning run I was able to come back for hot coffee and a yummy waffle for breakfast. (Added bonus) 😋 This hotel was perfect 👍 don’t think twice about it book your stay here you won’t regret it.

The hotel is fantastic in almost every way. The only thing I could complain about is that the walls between rooms are paper thin. It was only an issue in that our neighbors woke up at 7:00 am and talked until about 9, and In could understand every word. However, the staff were so helpful, kind, and accommodating that the noise definitely won’t deter us from returning.
