From Jingjiang, it's 90 miles (145 kilometers) to the southeast to Shanghai and 95 miles (153 kilometers) to the south to Jiaxing.
To find out why so many holiday-makers keep choosing Jiangsu as a place to holiday, ensure you and your family spend a bit more time in the places surrounding Jingjiang. Changzhou, lays 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northeast, and Nonghui can be found 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northwest.
Approximately 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the east of Jingjiang is Nantong, a regional city where you'll find Shuihui Garden, Binjiang Park and Tongzhou Square. Be sure not to return to Jingjiang until you've visited Nantong's Xintiandi Waterbom Park, Tongzhou Park and Tongzhou Art Museum.
Spirituality is an integral facet of every place's make-up, so be sure set aside some time to visit the area's many temples and other religious sites.
If the sun is shining while you are here, get outside. Boating and fishing are both popular here.
Traveling to a place is so much more than simply seeing the sights, it's also about the poetry, song and story of a region. Your experience in Jingjiang will become all the more rewarding if you take the time to memorize some common words, sayings and salutations in Mandarin. "Nǐ yào bú yào gēn wǒ tiàowǔ" ("Would you like todance with me?") is handy. Or try "Zhèiwèi xiānsheng huì qīngdān" (This gentleman/lady will pay for everything).
Everything has to end, but be rest assured, when you're ready to leave the region, you'll still have many special memories to take home.
