“Great Weekend!”

Doubletree was a great value and a very clean, friendly, and upscale hotel that was centrally located to all of our shopping and entertainment destinations. Service staff was very friendly and helpful and the property and amenities were immaculate. We had a great weekend. Enjoyed the breakfast buffett every day as well as the atrium pool, spa, sauna complex. Only negative that we could think of was the lack of an in-room fridge. Everything else was great in and out of the room. Definitely would recommend anytime and especially if you have kids.

Area recommendations

We recommend the Oak Park Mall, the Plaza, and the Casinos.

“Very Nice Stay”

This is the second time my family stayed at the Double Tree and both times I was very pleased with the accommodations and friendly service. Plus the cookies are addictive :-)

“A/C not working”

Our Air was not working the first night, and it was very uncomfortable. At the desk, the clerk told me they would "Try" to fix it. Not very comforting. They did get it fixed, so the next two nights were fine. My brother showed up two hours before I did. I had made the reservation, but he had the same last name and a copy of the confirmation. The desk clerk was rude to him and wouldn't let him in. Very unaccommodating. The room was quiet and comfortable, once the air was fixed. Coffee was provided two mornings, but not the third for some reason. Go to the restaurant, I was told. Overall, a good value, just not a friendly place. Left a bad taste. I wouldn't stay there again.

“great deal for the money”

Great location; the kids had a blast at the large pool. The beds were comfy, and the rooms were nice and quiet.

Area recommendations

We had a great time in K.C. We visited the Moon Marble company, the Deanna Rose Children's farmstead in Overland Park, Royals game, Worlds of Fun and Schlitterbahn. Our only disappoint was going to the zoo, only to find out they had closed early for a fund raiser. If you are taking young kids to the baseball game, I recommend joining the kids club; for 20.00 they each got a jersey, hat, lanyard, ticket discounts and punches for the kids games at the park.

“Nice place”

Still a very nice hotel with good dining services. We didn't get the junior suite we reserved and they stuck us in a room with two full size beds. The hotel apparently oversold the junior suites and the late arriving guests (our group) got downgraded.

“DoubleTree Stay”

Over all our stay was a very good one, but I had just one complaint. The pillows were to soft and mushy, it was hard to sleep at night using them, but other then that the service was very excellent. The hotel was very clean and very quiet.

THE HOTEL WAS PERFECT! ONE OF THE BEST HOTEL WHERE WE HAVE BEEN! JUST ONE THINGH......THEY FORGET TO PUT A REFRIGERATION AND THE MICROWAVE I ASK FOR WHEN I BOOK,BUT FOR ALL WAS AUWWWWHHHH!!
