Karpacz is known for skiing, ski jumping, hiking, and other popular mountain sports. Located in the southwest Poland's Karkonosze Mountains, it remains a proven alternative to pricier resort areas in the Alps. A mysterious gravity-defying hill can be found in nearby Karpacz Gorny.
