I have a soft spot for Konockti Harbor Inn. I have been going there my entire life. It brings back happy memories for me and I look forward to my time there.

Great to see this property is up and running again. Apparently they're bringing back entertainment, but no outdoor arena shows (too bad—they had so many great bands perform here). It's apparent that they're trying their best to get the property up to speed with a limited crew, but every staff member we talked to was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, with an excellent view of the lake. The property overall needs a lot of work, but it's such an iconic setting. With some polish and good marketing to get the word out, this place could rock again!

There was nothing to eat open and it didn't say that anywhere when I booked it. The woman behind the desk was not helpful finding a place to ear. I stood at the front desk ringing the bell for 10 minutes before someone came to help. I was early to check in but she said my room had not been cleaned yet. This is a large resort and there was not 1 other car at the hotel They absolutely could have accommodated me after a long drive but couldn't even offer me a room any earlier than 4:00. They claimed to have had the cleaning people scheduled. WHO CARES!!! CHANGE IT! When I did come back the gentleman who helped me apologized for the woman earlier and said she should have given me a room.

This is a beautiful property. We didn't have any hot water, but the facility got someone out there and it was fixed within a few hours. We also had some ants and bug issues. Again, they came out an sprayed for them.

Great views, small showers.
The staff was very welcoming and accomodations were clean and nice, my only discomfort was the shower. It was very small, my wife is 5'8" and the shower head was quite low for her. I'm 6'1" so it was challenging for me. Everything else about our stay was very nice, loved the lake view.

The bed was reasonably comfortable. Other than that, 3 out of 4 lights in the room didn't work. TV is streaming via WiFi only, but WiFi was down. So, no TV. Couldn't figure out how to operate the AC on night one. Figured it out on night two, although it was set to Celsius. Checked out 2 nights early since my biz in the area had concluded. Penalty charge per the booking for changing or cancelling the booking was 1 night stay taxes/fees, I was charged 2 nights taxes/fees. The venue refused to abide by the policy and refund the 1 night overcharge. I am still contesting the charge. My nickname for this place is: THE LAST RESORT

It was nice. Got an upgrade to a lake view room. Beautiful sunrise over the lake and full moon. Since it was business I only stayed one night. I'm not sure if the restaurant is seasonal.

The property staff were very friendly and wanting to make sure your stay was an enjoyable one. Friday night was a quiet and enjoyable night. Unit cleanliness was not up to par. Found animal hair in area rug in the living space. Sheet had stains at the bottom of the bed area. Kitchen stove was off limits, however microwave and refrigerator were in good working order. The restaurant and bar area was not available on Saturday due to a private event being held there. Pool area was chained an apparently was not accessible.Overall it appeared that they were closing down for the season. Room was spacious, the deck area was great and the view was very nice. If I decided to book in the future I would make sure that there were no private events taking place and the all services would be available.

I'd like to give this place a good review because the staff were all so friendly - but I can't. I booked through Expedia. Turns out if I'd gone to their website to book I would have seen that the only functioning restaurant/bar on the property was closed for a private event. We had to drive several miles to eat. This is a place that books itself as a "resort and spa". Ridiculous. This place was empty - and the end of September isn't that far off of peak season. But what really needs to happen is that the resort needs to notify Expedia of amenity closures - just as 'real' resorts due when they have ongoing construction. Additionally, it looks like the facility was built in the 1960's and hasn't changed much. It is very old and tired. They clearly added room A/C's along the way, but when we checked in the room, it was so stuffy and musty. With just a handful of guests, they could have at least aired out the room! The beds were ok and they had a flat screen tv, but the bathrooms - yuck. Looked like the original tiny tiled showers. They made weird choices to 'upgrade' like a big electronic mirror - and crappy cabinetry and shower. Instead of painting the walls all the walls were covered in fake plastic marble. Because of the staff, beds and tv being ok, they get a 2. But there is NOTHING here. Maybe during summer with lots of boaters they have a little marina/launch. But it is not near any 'town' or any other place to go unless you get in a car and drive.

Absolutely beautiful lakeside location. An enormous property slowly making a recovery after some 10 years of abandonment. Nice staff. Accomodating management. Spotty amenities. Best check on availability of food, bar, deck etc. Since there is a skeletal staff. Also, be prepared to use staircase for 2nd flr rooms which you might not want to do with luggage. Only a fraction of the rooms ate remodeled and habitable. Modern fixtures of remote control ac, lighted bathroom mirror, small 'frig. Comfortable beds. No room phone. Can tell that remodel was more cover up by new surface to old style low bathroom sink top and low toilet. Evidently, no replumbing. Its such a beautiful spot, I wish them the best...

Location is terrific. Views are amazing. Very few services. Don't go if you plan on fishing on the property. Contacted property before going and was told fishing was allowed. At check in I once again asked about where we were allowed to fish and was told anywhere on the property which turned out to be incorrect. When setting up we were rudly told we could only fish over in a rocky section by the boat ramp which, at least for a senior is very difficult to get to the water without falling. Web page is very deceptive. We will go back but only when the place is worth the money.

Great Place
First time at this location since new ownership, prior to that stayed here a week every year. Updated rooms, the pool was great, customer service outstanding, and all employees pleasant and thoughtful. Not all amenities completed yet but confident they will in time. Continental breakfast, clean rooms, great location, relaxing view, lovely pool area. Don't hesitate to book.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL HOTEL WITH STUNNING VIEWS !! This hotel made me feel like was in Hawaii! Staff is super friendly and helpful! You can rent Kayaks at the resort!! My only complaint was that the hotel isn’t what it used to be..You can tell at one point it was a super fun and awesome resort you would stay at for days!! There used to be mini golf course (We had our daughter with us so we definitely would have played if it wasn’t ran down), the theater doesn’t seem to be in use anymore, there used to be a GIANT hot tub & another pool but for some reason they drained and look like they will never be in use again just gives the place a super sad vibe.. The hotel definitely needs a hot tub & heated pool if it had one of those two then this would definitely be the best hotel ever!

My TV was out of commission the whole day, and no one was able to fix it. Security kicked us off the pier from fishing. Your facility used to have people fishing off the pier. My buddy stayed not too far from us, and he couldn't use his stove.

Great view and very quiet place to stay
The hotel was basic but very comfortable. We had everything we needed. My only comment is the WiFi which was non existence. It made working really difficult. We ended up using hot spot. The front staff are aware if the shooty signal. Overall for about $100 I can’t complain. It’s perfect for relaxing but not working.

The hotel was clearly misrepresented on the website as being an updated and clean room/resort. That is absolutely not the case. The room was dark, dirty, partially updated, smelled damp/old, and had lots of spiders and ants in it. The resort itself is completely in shambles with hints of poor repairs. I am truly disappointed!

Adjoining door needed a deadbolt for security. Office closes at 11:00 PM. No phone in room. The person at the front desk didn’t know the WiFi password when we called and it wasn’t provided at check in but someone else in charge was able to provide it. The outside lights didn’t come on until about an hour or more after dark. Also online says check out is at noon but it’s actually 11:00. Once again no one tells you that at check in and there was no information in the room. You have to call the office from your personal phone. I’ve never stayed somewhere that doesn’t have a telephone in the room or doesn’t provide the WiFi password at check in. I heard they reopened recently so must still be working on getting things up and running smoothly. The pool looked great but we didn’t have a chance to enjoy it.

We love Konocti! We used to come back in the day and we were so excited to see it had reopened. They are still working on some things so not all the amenities were available. But it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and happy to have you there. And everything was super clean!! The pool area was wonderful. Can’t wait for our next visit!!

It was a little difficult to get to the second floor with all our bags. First floor rooms were still under construction. Very interesting history of the place. Would love to see it make a big comeback.
