Ski Shores sits on the popular Upper Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ, featuring an open living/dining/kitchen area, as well as an indoor sun porch for easy relaxation, all with spectacular water views. The kitchen boasts all new appliances, a bar with seating, and a large table. Outdoors, a boat dock features a covered boat slip, a dual jet ski ramp, and an upper sundeck. Two complimentary kayaks are available for guest use. A deck stretches across the back of the home, perfect for outdoor dining and watching the sunrise. The shaded backyard is ideal for kids to run around and play.

Quick Getaway
Spent 2 nights at this house. It was much bigger than I expected. Kids loved the foosball, pool table and ping pong table. One recommendation is to update the board games/puzzles. There were some missing parts. Overall great house, great location, look forward to visiting it in the summertime when it's warmer and we can really enjoy the water activities

Great Family Vacation Spot
The lakehouse is beautiful. We enjoyed basking in the sun and kayaking right from the backyard. 4 star is due to some housekeeping items that could of used a more thorough attention that we had to handle ourselves in order to be able to use the backyard. Definitely would recommend.

Just ok, needs work
I’ve been renting on Lake LBJ for many years. This house is on a great street and perfectly situated on the Colorado arm of the lake. The home is older with modest improvements. First impression was that it had sat vacant for a while. Overgrown bushes, yard appeared it had not been mowed and was covered with molting bark from the neighbor’s trees. (Haha, the yard crew arrived when we were packing to leave!) Windows are grimy and web covered. Decent wood deck in the back but it badly needs pressure washed/sealed and was covered with bark, debris and junk. The wood chairs by the firepit are warped and cracking. The boat/jet ski lifts were the best part of the home. The cabling and motors are in good shape on both lifts and they operated perfectly! The deck above boat dock is very nice and shaded in the evening but the webbing is torn on the loungers making them useless. The closure is missing from the gate that goes out over the water so the gate swings freely. A chair is positioned with the legs over the cabling to hold the gate closed. The GFCI breaker at the dock won’t stay engaged so the yard lights won’t stay on. Inside, we had to wash dirty sheets and a mattress cover from one of the bunk beds. Otherwise, the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen/dining areas were clean. The bottom drawer on the stove is broken. The small pantry has a lot of food items, apparently from previous renters, and the floor mop, broom, dust pan etc. are stored there so we pass

Perfect Getaway on Colorado Arm of LBJ!
We all want to come back next summer!! There's lots of room to spread out, great view thru large windows facing the lake. The kids especially enjoyed jumping off of the top deck of boat dock! It was wonderful to have a reliable boat lift this year with ramps for jet skis....and ample parking spaces for 3 families. Loved the lake theme decor throughout the house, too. We were looking forward to our coffee by the water the first morning, but were disappointed that the Keurig was inoperable. Water wouldn't stop pouring out. Thank goodness there was a backup Mr. Coffee Maker on the countertop and filters in pantry.....just had to make quick trip to buy some Folgers! The only other housekeeping issue was the noticeable odor as we walked into the bunk room. Made me wish I'd brought some pinesol and a mop! Overall, great accommodations!! The beautiful lush green grass made it a very picturesque setting!

Was absolutely perfect for 2 families!!
We have stayed in the area before in a bigger home with more bells and whistles but we actually liked this one more! The house is a one story with only 1 small flight of stairs outside. The bedroom set up was perfect with a big open kitchen/living room. Kids fished, jumped, kayaked and floated on big mat. When kids needed a break from the sun they could play ping pong, pool, foose ball or board games. Easy cleanup. We rent properties based on the dock because that’s where we spend 90% of our time, and it was perfect!! Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect girls weekend on the water
My friends and I had the most relaxing retreat over the weeknd, all of the outdoor sitting areas gave us different wondrful views the nice breeze made it all feel so serene. Kayaks were nice to beable to get on the water, although it was very windy and there were many boats on the water, we found a little inlet that gave us some relief from the we waves. We will definitely be coming back to this one!

we wanted a get away for thanksgiving. some people live in dallas we live in san antonio. nice inbetween place. plenty of room and seating areas. we especially enjoyed the firepit outside and did use the kayaks.

Upside: Nice, clean, comfortable. Family enjoyed the kayaks, pool table, ping-pong, and Foosball tables. Well equipped kitchen. Downside: 10 am check-out and 4 pm check in. Paid for two days but really only got about one and a half, at most. Also, didn't appreciate being asked to empty all trash receptacles, start dishwasher, and take towels to washer before check out. Seems like we paid a hefty cleaning fee, so why are we expected to also clean? Oh, and what are we paying for in the "host fee"? Got a couple of texts from host. Nothing more. But, again, house was great.

Good for families
We took a late vacation with our family. Ski Shores was a good house, just the right size and was comfortable for our crew when we were done on the water. Beds were very firm was the most challenging issue. Our contact with property manager (Melissa) went above and beyond with not only communication but kitchen was lacking a mixer and she supplied one for us. Our family would stay at this property again.

My friends and I have been renting houses on LBJ for years. This was our first time at Ski Shores and it did not disappoint. Nice house, deck and sweet dock with a deck above. All of my messages to Vacasa were answered quickly including concern over the boat lift making bad noises. The local team came out and looked at it and put our minds at ease. Only challenge is somewhat limited parking but outside that a great house.

Great Stay
We had a great experience staying in Kingsland on the water. The property listing was accurate. We lived being right on the water for swimming and enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. The house was stocked with plenty of towels and supplies and a great living area for family to relax. We did loose power briefly, as did others on the street, but the property manager was helpful and kept us in the loop. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Weekend Getaway
This house was absolutely perfect for our family and friends to gather. We enjoyed a 2 night getaway at this location and wish we stayed longer. The kids enjoyed jumping from the dock and relaxing in the chairs while the parents enjoyed the fire pit. It was great to have access to out boat anytime we wanted to go out. The home fit all of us perfectly and comfortably. We will definitely be back to rent this house of with friends. Thank you for letting us use your amazing home!

The home was decorated perfect for a lake and had all the amenities you would need. The outside area made hanging out by the lake perfect, the boat dock worked great and the extra kayaks meant we could all kayak together. Easter Weekend 2021 at LBJ
This house was perfect for our Easter weekend trip with two other families. There was plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen was well equipped, and the outdoor porch, dock, and fire ring were perfect for a fun lake weekend. We will definitely be recommending this house to our friends and will be back when we can!
