Everyone was very helpful, accommodating and eager to please. i would definitely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to everyone who is willing to drive a few extra miles from the airport (about 40km). On our last evening at the hotel we had a very romantic dinner, thanks to the staff, who set up a special table with candles and put on some nice jazz to accompany the lovely and delicious food prepared by their chef. The idea was to celebrate my birthday and spend some quality time together. Needless to say, it was perfect!

A very lovely hotel with lots of different choice of accommodation. We had a hotel room with a beautiful sea view and great sunset views. It has a lovely little private beach and a nice swimming pool and two choices about where to eat. The gardens of the grounds where very well maintained and beautiful which meant there was a lot of wildlife to see. We stayed out of season so it was very quiet and relaxing and a good base to do day trips from such as Ko Tao (excellent snorkelling). This island is very laid back and different to Ko Samui so we weren't pressurised into buying anything or hassled on the beaches and the people were extremely friendly. When getting a ferry across from Ko Samui make sure you go to Thong Sala peer as it is the closest one to the resort.

Something that wasn't touristy. It was small and very personal. The staff was great and made us feel very welcome. It was on top of a hillside. So you had a perfect view of the beach. The beach was very close. Just walking distance. I would recommend this for a traveler. Not for a family who had a bunch of requests.

We arrived at Tropical Garden Lounge and were greated very friendly and welcoming. Even got a refreshing drink.
Very lovely, spacious Bungalows. Clean and tidy! They have even a Minibar a DVD Player and free WIFI.
All of the staff is very friendly and helpful so is the Manager. He helped us with all problems and booking of Tickets.
The free Barbeque and the Movie Night at the Swimming Pool was great fun! Never have watched a movie from a floating chair out of the Pool - great guys!
The restaurant served great food. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Staff is great and with Breakfast served until 2pm its absouletly relaxing. They have a large breakfast selection. We always got our desired breakfasts!
We will come back soon - Thanks for all your hospitality.

Ideal location if you want to be by all the action. It's located on a side street off the main road exactly where the busiest bars are, so 2 mins walk and your in the middle of the action. However, because it's on the side road you don't get all the noise or disruptions. So at one end is the main road and at the other is the beach.
I stayed in a bungalow which was basic, but has everything you need for a short stay. Bed and bathroom basically! The main thing for me was that it was clean, so I was happy. Also, the walkway down to the bungalows is quite pretty.
It's the sort of place you book if all you need is a room, because there isn't a restaurant or many staff around. There is however a great beach bar.

Inspired by a good sale on room rates, my wife and I made a last minute booking in Bangkok and headed south to Samui. We weren't that sure what to expect, but were wholly impressed when we arrived and discovered we'd gotten a killer deal on an apartment sized bungalow/villa with a mind blowing view of a clear blue ocean. A private bathtub with a large open air window looking out over the water, we were impressed with the privacy, the quiet, and overall atmosphere of this unique establishment.
In terms of location, you're almost equal distance to Lamai and Chaweng (a little over 10 minutes by scooter), and it's a great place to be if you want to explore the island from a base that isn't isolated or overly developed - ideal for a family or a couple looking to relax. I've been to the islands many times over the years and would definitely say this is an ideal place to be.
Heading to Phangan to stay at the world famous Santhiya, the money I paid at Villa Moon was much better spent in a suite that was comparable, if not better equipped with two televisions and two dvd players and two bathrooms. Since the hotel was quiet at that point the manager kindly upgraded our suite when we requested to stay additional nights. I had the sense that this newer establishment wishes to build up some "word of mouth" and is prepared to impress and give its guests special treatment if you are friendly and it's feasible. The staff get to know you and are kind and attentive. Excellent place!
