Pros: Only thing up to date in this hotel is flat screen TV's.
Cons: Total renovation. I have pictures but can't figure out how to post them.
We arrived on a Friday evening. Saturday getting ready to attend a wedding, we only had lukewarm water and no pressure whatsoever. Sunday, no hot water at all. Told the desk and was told that their maintenance man doesn't work on weekends so it wouldn't get looked at till Monday. So, she. Opened up another room on a different floor so we could take showers. Monday, the maintenance man shows up and doesn't have a clue what's wrong. My husband does this type of work for a living so he showed the maintenance man what was wrong. The problem called for a professional contractor to fix it. So, Monday, the manager finally moved us to a different floor/room that had hot water. My sister also had a room beside us. Besides the hot water issue, her room was very moldy and stunk to high heaven. When we checked out Tuesday, the manager gave us 2 certificates for a free night at this same hotel, good for a year. Told her we would not be back within a year and she said well you can probally use them at any Baymont, just check with them first! I asked why they couldn't just credit my credit card for 2 nights, but because I had prepaid in advance, they couldn't do that. Anyway, until they get the mold/mildew issue taken care of along with updating and cleaning the rooms, DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

Pros: none
Cons: major remodel
Location: several eating places
feet walking all night above us sounded as if a small child was jumping up and down during the night the offer of a morning breakfast was a joke, I usually like fruit ,the fruit was like something I forgot in the refrigerator and found a week or 2 later, I started to ask the desk clerk to come look at it and ask if she would eat that but each time I looked no one at the desk . we were given one 2 inch bar of soap for the bath room and to be used at the hand sink. towels were very few, then the tag asked you to reuse your bath towels etc again. I do not do this at home and will not do this at a paid location. the rooms need carpet cleaned very bad there were loose sheet rock paper peeling of the wall in bath room and at the entrance way in need of paint for the room stayed because could not get a room where normally stay that was non smoking, but will not stay at this location again

The restroom for the men doesn't lock, the rooms were cleaned and smelled very fresh! Bathroom was mopped daily and cleaned! The pictures are nice but need to say that the suites are not included in the 59.00 prices! I thought I was going to stay in a Suite for that price! Had a nice stay and the breakfast needs to be a little more added like bacon eggs and sausage Shines and Waffle House shouldn't have all your guest eating THERE!

A little dirty

The location is convenient and the layout of the room was fine. A little tight. The problem was there was hair all over the room and in the beds. Long black hair that was obviously from a previous guest. My wife was very grossed out and our little one kept grabbing all the hair. I hope this was an isolated event.

First and Last

The hotel itself is clean and the staff is friendly. The problem is the persons that were hanging around outside the hotel, not staying at the facility. I felt very unsafe at the hotel. People were wondering around all hours of the night in the parking lot and cars in and out continuously. I have stayed at several hotels in the general vicinity and never felt so unsafe as a single traveler. Striking this one from my list. Good value, clean place, just scary when there is a cop at the front of the road stopping people from turning in.

Pros: The price was great. Also the staff was friendly.
Cons: The bed, it was awful. It was a king sized that sagged in the middle and was hard as a rock. Also the sheets had black stains in them.
Location: Right off the interstate. Easy to get to. In the bad part of town. Would recommend a hotel down by Pinhook street. Go to Twin Brothers on Johnston for
We booked the hotel for five nights. We were taking classes down here. I stayed in the hotel on and off throughout the day. I thought it would be nice since it was by alot of hotels. come to find out there are homeless people camped out behind the hotel. Also found out that this stretch of hotels are in the bad part of town. Needless to say I never walked alone while outside. Inside the hotel there was a posting asking for a camera back that had been stolen from a family. It was a 1000 dollar reward and you would not be turned in by the cops... So I packed my room almost completely up everytime I left. My hotel room had hair everywhere and the smell was very musty. Overall the price was good but not good enough to make me stay again.

Scary area

room very poorly maintained, walls had a lot of "gunk" on them, light bulbs burned out, broken fixtures in bath, no water pressure...........just plain dirty
