Worst thing was we were without internet for 1 1/2 days and without responsive communication from the owner. Bathroom fan extremely loud and uncertain if it really worked. Location excellent, kitchen and bedrooms very fine (except dishwasher soap pods non-existent and dishwasher tending to “fall out” if its compartment but still worked excellently). Décor was nice, place was clean, kitchen well-stocked, and owner very nice and responsive to replacing bathroom nightlight when asked.

July Wild Flower Trip
This apartment was not clean and was in disrepair. Filthy hall entrance, windows, fridge filthy, cupboards,drawers ,dishes,, utentsils, carpet filthy,window open and missing screen.We found cockroaches in apt. We spend an hour cleaning best we could before unpacking.Owner was very nice and said it had been a hard year with family health issues and little time to take care of apt. This was not fair to us, the renters at the price we paid. Apt next door had leaking pipes and black mold.Please do a deep clean for the next renters

Perfect Lake City stay
We spent last week at John’s property in Lake City. It was so convenient for all of our needs. The kitchen was well supplied and I was pleasantly surprised to find I didn’t need many of the things I brought with me. Very easy access to the Alpine Loop, close proximity to the shops in town, and was a great place for those times when we just wanted to hang out at the property. John was very accessible and I enjoyed the times visiting with him as he watered the flowers. We plan to be back!

Perfect cabin and location for us
We have been coming to Lake City for the past 10 years and love it every year. This was the first year to stay at this property and will not be the last. It was the perfect location for us. John was an amazing host. We mentioned that the coffee maker wasn’t working properly and that very evening there was a new one on the front steps. We could not ask for a better host or location.

Great stay for a family of 4!
This was the perfect location for our family of four. We were able to park our OHV right in front of the building and were minutes away from nearby trails. We enjoyed being able to walk or drive our OHV to local restaurants, shops, and historical locations. We especially enjoyed the museum. During our stay we only had one issue, which was the washer not working properly. However, it wasn’t a big deal since the laundry mat was right around the corner. Also, just as a heads up if you are visiting in the summertime, be prepared to leave the windows open as there is no AC. It gets cool at night so it’s not a major issue, but the second bedroom gets a tad warm since there isn’t a ceiling fan in it. Overall, I’d say it was a great stay and would definitely consider staying there in the future!

Great
This is a cozy place to stay. Clean and very comfortable. Parking in front and on side, we had enough room for 2 trucks and 2 trailers. Apartment is close to shopping, restaurants and trail head. Town is OHV friendly. Over all a great place to stay!
