Albergo Ristorante Giardino is a nice hotel situated i Cernobbio at Lake Como, where I stayed two nights on my own hand in August 2013. The hotel as such is very nice, although a quite ordinary, small roomed, but very clean European hotel with an ok pizzaria in the hotel (I think, however, that the ones, more local down the road was better), and breakfast with good coffee, but to a quite sensible price. The destination, on the other hand, is in my honest oppinion not the very best for someone travelling alone and without a car. The lake is of course very nice, but it is hard to enjoy it because it is difficult to get around with busses often only leaving once every hour, because it is hard to get tables at the (good) restaurants, and people in general didn't seem very friendly. That changed immediately when getting south of Milano. All in all: Lake Como is a must see, and the ARG is a good, reasonably priced option for staying, but bring company and a car or stay in Como City - or else you will be bored to death:o)
