The location is perfect and the property is stunning. The breakfast and service at breakfast is fantastic. They have mimosas and a wide selection of cheeses and fruits. Unfortunately the front desk staff is an absolute nightmare. They were not welcoming from the beginning and were talking about us in a negative way throughout the entire stay. They were disrespectful and rude. When we brought this to the attention of a different shift of front desk staff, they were not apologetic or helpful in resolving it. In fact, they continued to talk about us. We were told that we could not eat outside food on the tables outside by the main entrance and had to go to our room (there were no other guests using the tables so it was not like we were taking them from anyone else who wanted bar service). The sheets are terribly uncomfortable. When we checked out, we again told them about how dissatisfied we were with the service and they did not even make a comment. They said, “oh, no?” And then changed the topic getting back to our bill. They are a disgrace for a 5 star resort. All this hotel cares about is taking your money. I would recommend staying at another property in Bellagio or perhaps a true 5 star resort in Tremezzo.
