"March 2024 The Hotel Grand Khalifa exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, airy and very spacious. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. Nice hot shower after our long drive from Udaipur! The welcome drink was a nice touch. We had dinner and breakfast which were made to our likings. Mr Amardeen chatted with us over dinner and his laal maas was amazing! Must try if you are going in Jaiselmer! The manager at breakfast, Mr. Khan, was very friendly, gave us an overview of the city, hotel history. We were able to store our luggage while went to the Dunes. We will definitely be staying here when we come to Jaisalmer again. Family of 3 travelling from Canada"

"Our stay at Hotel Helsinki in Jaisalmer was pretty fantastic! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. As we were traveling with elderly parents, comfort and accessibility are paramount to us, and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the staff members deserve a special mention for their attentiveness and dedication. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and they were eager to assist us with any inquiries or needs we had. Their recommendations and thoughtful gestures truly made us feel like honored guests. The sunset at their desert camp was spectacular. Our room was an oasis, clean and tastefully decorated with a touch of Rajasthani elegance. The views from our window could be much improved by cleaning up the trash and adding landscaping with native desert plants. The hotel's rooftop restaurant was quite good with excellent service and a variety of authentic Rajasthani dishes. With great views of the fort, we would have enjoyed more comfortable outdoor furniture, but maybe next time! The hotel's location was in walking distance to the city's iconic landmarks and bustling bazaars. "

"This small hotel is in a historic building located inside the fort. Our room 'Red Maharani' had commanding view overlooking Jaisalmer. There is an excellent rooftop restaurant upstairs that has even better views and great food. Breakfast is included. The rooms and the restaurant are accessed through steep stone stairs and thus this hotel (and indeed all of Jaisalmer) are not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Also, i would not recommend this hotel if you have toddlers who misbehave, since the railings are low. This hotel is perfect for adults and those with older children. "
