We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the hotel was well kept. It is in a good location close to the town but not on the main street. It was easy to get to and had parking.

Perfect size hotel very well located tucked away from any noise and people traffic but just 10 min away from town (walking). Run by very attentive young staff who are clearly proud of their job and will be happy to make you feel welcome. Best breakfast I have had in as many hotels in Italy. The pool is just right for nice refreshing afternoon.

Fantastic Hotel, Service and Location
This is a beautiful classically updated Italian style hotel in a fantastic location. Two minutes walking distance to the historic centre of Bardolino, the Borgo and lake of Garda. Easy access to and from main streets for exploring the nearby villages and sights. Front desk was very helpful and breakfast along with excellent service, was on the top floor with beautiful views of the lake. A dip in the on-site pool also great after a long day. Highly recommended.

Amazing hotel, location is perfect...we were first time visitors to Lake Garda and if you want a hotel that is literally 2mins walk from a vast number of restaurants and a hotel that is 2mins walk to the boat to explore the lake, this is the place. Perfect location if you wish to explore all the surrounding towns of Lake Garda.

Palace San Pietro - Great Location, Great Pool
This hotel is a great choice that is very close to Bardolino's center area. A very short walk to dozens and dozens of shops, restaurants, bars and fun. Also very close to water's edge where there is a great boardwalk, rocky beach area and plenty to see. Rooms were clean, the bathroom is large with a nice shower, and each room has a balcony with two seats and a table to enjoy the view. Only downside for us was that we were there during the recent "heat wave" and the A/C could barely keep up. While room was tolerable, it was not "comfortable" due to temperature. In fairness, the heat was highly unusual (over 38C / 98F) and the system simply couldn't keep up. But the good news is that the hotel has an excellent pool and a nice shaded garden area where one could cool off and relax. Also a very nice restaurant up on the roof with great views and good food. We would certainly go back again.

First Rate Hotel
A fantastic hotel, just a short distance from the centre of Bardolino. A very enjoyable experience, the service was very friendly and first rate, the pool area was very clean and relaxing with a great bar service. No complaints about the rooms and facilities. A great 3 day chill out! The hidden gem was the Terrace restaurant on the top floor, the food was excellent together with the warm welcome and faultless service afforded by Ignatious and the rest of the team. Highly recommended

Well positioned hotel with very hard beds
Close to centre of town with handy parking. Nice breakfast with good views on top floor. Small but clean and heated pool with hot tub. Hardly slept though as mattress was so firm - kept having to turn over to take weight off one hip.

A week with a worry...
Definitely recommend this nice quiet hotel. Great base for Bardolino and the towns of Lake Garda. Simple hotel and lovely staff. We only did B&B so can’t advise on quality of dinners but if you were to judge it by that of the breakfast you wouldn’t go wrong...simply excellent! Pool area small but again just what we were looking for.

Decent hotel, fantastically located near old Bardolino town center. Walking distance from the lake and all the bars and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean but facilities are a bit dated. Could use a facelift. Breakfast at the terrace restaurant is superb!

Our stay was fantastic. The room was clean and well presented and the facilities excellent. We were not expecting to actually see the lake from our room as it was advertised as a garden view and the hotel is set back from the water, but if you look to the left or right of our balcony you could see the lake and the mountains in the distance, so we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are reasonably sound proofed from the road. Choice of breakfast food was great. Standard continental breakfast with a lovely selection of fresh fruit. There was also what looked like freshly made breakfast pastries, breads etc... You wouldn't go hungry. Pool is great. I'm not normally a fan of shared pools, but it was quiet enough with an outside table service. The heated pool is salt water. I suffer with eczema and found it was less harsh than normal chemical/chlorine pools. Location of the hotel was excellent, we didn't realise how close it was to all of the other restaurants and shops in Bardolino. 2 min walk down the path. It really is in the middle of the tourist area, but far away enough not to be too loud etc... The hotel is situated against a quiet one-way street and is surrounded with foliage. We had an issue with our taxi service through expedia. The hotel managed to smooth over the issues. Always better Italian to Italian. We had a fantastic holiday. We are already thinking of coming again next year. San Pietro will definitely be at the top our list for a future visit.

Excellent hotel in great location in Bardolino with superb air-conditioning, good wifi, professional, friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfast buffet in Terrace restaurant. Lake view room with balcony on third floor is the best choice for maximum benefit for any stay at this location.

Freshly redecorated rooms with modern shower room. Fantastic bed with a great balcony over a heated pool with jacuzzi. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast with omelets and lots of fresh fruit and pastries. Location is a 1 minute walk from the town centre on a lovely quiet street. Highly recommend the hotel.

Hotel San Pietro is a very welcoming place to stay in Bardolino. Well worth 4 stars! The room was beautifully decorated, very spa like; modern bathroom. The breakfast was not only delicious with a great number of delicious offerings, but it's served on the Terraza with a gorgeous view of Lake Garda. The entire staff was very professional and welcoming! Great value for such a lovely hotel. Would definetly stay here again... Wish I could return to Bardolino!

Lovely hotel, staff are very welcoming and service levels are excellent. Good location set back from the Lake. 2 minute walk to the lake itself and 5 minute walk to the centre of Bardolino. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Executive room by pool not best choice but when moved due to the understanding of staff and availability our week was fabulous. So close to Lake, shops restaurants and town and yet so quiet and traditional setting. The refurbished rooms are excellent and the staff are its prized asset. Ignatious , your smile at breakfast everyday announcing weather and passion to please makes it a wonderful environment. We don't speak any other languages but there wass a Keats someone who spoke the many different languagessoken by the visitors. Going again in not too distant future. We had a day to wait and the changing / shower room and accommodating staff at no extra charge is rare. PS please continue to upgrade wifi, could be better but hardly used it which was a good thing in hindsight

I really liked this hotel. The pool and Jacuzzi area was extremely clean and inviting. The staff were helpful and attentive and the rooms clean, comfortable and quiet (although the air con) didn't work in our room which was such a shame as I think we would of had a brilliant nights sleep otherwise. The breakfast gave a great selection and great views on the terrace where it was served. I loved that the waiter gave us a bit of paper with the weather, places to see in the area and the specials for the restaurant. What a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend. Looked like the best hotel by far in the area.

Great service for wedding dinner
A group of us stayed at San Pietro and we hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner there. They couldn't have been any more helpful with the dinner, the price was reasonable, and the food was delicious. The wine choices were good and well priced. I was really thrilled with the event, and I host a lot of events in the U.S. The rooms were comfortable and reasonably priced. The larger room price is well worth the extra price. Pool area is lovely. Lobby was pleasant for gatherings. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, lake, and recreation. Two suggestions for the hotel: - I have come to expect hair conditioner for the shower, and was sorry not to have it. - The hotel needs at least one iron and ironing board for guests to borrow. I understand that you send laundry out, but guests rely on touch ups. Our group borrowed one from another hotel.

the only 4 star category is the breakfast buffet rooms need some upgrade,filthy couch end chairs should definitely be replaced! We had a deluxe room and when asking why there was no balcony answer was that is was the biggest room in hotel instead with a view on the gravel parking lot!
