Enjoyed our stay at Hibiscus. A few maintenance issues would have made it better. Front door banged shut because latch was broken. Back door was dory and the windows needed cleaning. The remote was temperamental and didn’t work all the time couldn’t tv on then couldn’t turn off.

Every tap in the place leaked or was difficult to turn off. Not enough cutlery, plates and the kitchen was poorly equipped. The fly screen door banged. The furnishings were poor or minimal. The decor was austere.

I booked apartment for 3 nights. Cleaning was very poor, spiders and mosquitoes in the rooms. Very disappointed will never book this property again

The room was spacious, but very drafty as there wasn’t any weather stripping at the bottom of the door. It was rainy and cold so that was noticeable. Would have loved to make use of the washing machine, but the weather wasn’t cooperative to hang things out to dry. Enjoyed having enough space to stay indoors with friends and play card games.

Could be really good, excellent position and well kept. Problems with remote registration and the need to supply copies of personal documents prior to acceptance but post payment to booking agency is inconvenient and cyber dangerous. Wifi unsecured . And the laundry is machine only with a clothes rack to dry which takes two days inside. Fan failed to work and there were no instructions for use of equipment. No information from the surrounding area and no personal contact made the stay sterile and unwelcoming.

The property was bit dated. Very dirty sofas, no dishwasher, door knobs very hard to operate, toilet roll holder falling off. Need proper renovation and updating.

We stayed in the house, which was lovely. It has a 2nd story view of the north arm, with a balcony. So easy to find as you're coming into Lakes.

The apartment was fine, nothing flash but everything we needed. It was noisy with people staying on the floor above. Kids were running up and down the stairs from very early in the morning which was very loud in the apartment. Overall our stay was fine.

Through the Wotif booking system total lack of personal communication. When asked to call, directed to American voicemail. Very hard to speak directly to property to extend stay etc. Seemed no management on site. Very impersonal. Check in all by text. App was not user friendly. Could not enter required date information easy. Would hate to have arrived late at night. The accommodation was fine.

Great location. The 3 bedroom appartment looks over the waterfront, the exceptional balcony offers great views of the sunset and the waters. Great place for coffee with the family. We found the separate space to park the car was really nice. The living room is generous in size with it's own kitchen. The apartment provided all towels and face washers, hair dryer which is great. There are fans in the 3 bedrooms, however it would be better if the air con is also in the bedrooms as we found it was warm to hot to sleep. There are two bathrooms however we found 1 toilet can be inadequate for 6 people in a 3 bedroom appartment. Overall, the location was great for this place.

Everything was to our satisfaction. Clean ,freshly painted and spacious. Very central with a walking distance to everything. Nice walk along the river and return the other side on the esplanade ,water all around very relaxing.

Clean, convenient, reasonably priced apartments
Clean apartment in a very convenient location close to the beaches and shops. This place had nice and clean outdoor facilities (bbq and swimming pool). However, some downsides was that wi-fi was not working at all during my 4-night stay and that you were not allowed to cook seafood inside apartments which was not mentioned in the description. Nonetheless, you were able to use the outdoor bbq to cook your seafood.

Love Lakes Entrance
Great place, very comfortable and lovely facilitates. A healthy walk into town and cafes. Only issue was we couldn't get the free wifi to connect.

Property was very clean and well appointed. Ideal location in the town. The check in’s procedure needs reviewing. With no office on the property and not even a phone number when things go wrong (as they did for us) it is very frustrating. We were sent a code for the key lock but no communication whatsoever re the number of unit. After a 7 hour drive it was all we needed. It was only the arrival much later of someone else checking in who told us you were supposed the property next door if there were problems. Not good enough! Poor start to a much anticipated break

Standard housekeeping was excellent and the bed was comfortable. The front door lock required attention as did the kitchen and bathroom taps. The light over the bed needs replacing. I hope I am not nit-picking but if not attended to they could become a costly repair. The armchairs were great.
