My husband and I stayed here on our drive between Melbourne and Sydney and absolutely loved it! The two women that own and run it are wonderful. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed and included fun added touches, cookies to greet us! Location walkable to great restaurants, the water and shopping. I highly recommend it!

Stayed in deluxe queen room for an overnight stay. Room was very clean, the bed was really comfortable, easy parking right outside the room and quiet at night. Handy kitchen utensils, plates, cups and nice to have the coffee pod machine. Lots of little extra touches to make us feel welcome. Staff were friendly and helpful and obviously enjoy doing what they do. Would recommend this motel. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

Awesome motel to stay. Super clean room, awesome bed and great shower. Very spacious plus a couch and table and chairs. We were greeted as if friends plus as an added touch, homemade biscuits on arrival. They were delicious.

The property is Kept very clean & tidy. The 2 ladies running the property are very friendly and helpful. We have been lucky enough to travel quite a bit all over the world & we have found that it's the little things that make all the difference to our stay. Fiona & Shawna add that personal touch, that little something else with daily homemade treats left in your room in stead of the ubiquitous little pack of mass produced cookies for your tea and coffee. That's what makes the difference for us. Thank you very much ladies.

Well positioned on the Esplanade, very neat and tidy motel. Very comfortable room with many small touches including a Welcome Sweet Treat. Very friendly and helpful managers. Definitely would return.

Great place to stay. Super friendly check in, spotless room with hot shower and very comfy bed. Had a lot of little extra touches to the room which means the owners take a lot of pride with the motel. For a smaller complex it is definitely punching above its weight

The location was fantastic and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, the accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed for our little staycation. We walked 5 mins in to the main strip and were minutes away from the beach. We had a great time and will book again.

Love this hotel, very close to everything! I actually contact the hotel before booking. Very friendly staffs. The place is lovely with the pool, the kids love it. Also very close the beach and everything. Definitely come back to this hotel next round.

Outstanding overnight stay
I really enjoyed our stay here. The owners have taken that extra care to have super comfortable sheets and pillows. There were also pretty floral hand towels and face washers which I’ve never seen in a motel room. The gardens were cute and the owners helpful. Highly recommend the Central Hotel for dinner.

Excellent service!
Queensland going into lockdown found us unexpectedly in Lakes Entrance via Albury (from Melbourne!). We booked this place on the road and arrived after a very long day to find we had been upgraded to a King and the heater was already running to warm the room before we got there. Such great service after a trying day! The room was clean and spacious. The bed ultra comfortable. It was very quiet being away from the main drag, about a 20 minute walk to the main area with lots of dining options and 2 supermarkets. A small couch and coffee table meant we could sit comfortably at night, microwave, kettle and toaster meant we could self cater a bit. It was a very comfortable stay for a few nights and we would come again!

We enjoyed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Fiona and Shawna made our stay perfect.. always happy to help and talk about local attractions and places to eat. Neat and clean.. even had real coffee which was just great. We will certainly stay there again... we were treated like family.

Good Motel in convenient location
Conveniently located motel with easy access to the town and the esplanade. Rooms are good with a Netspresso coffee maker, microwave, etc. Rooms are good, bathrooms with good hot water. A nice toch was pretty hand towels and face washers.
