Beautiful views looking South to the ocean. Wonderful hospitality. A country style B&B, if that is what you’re looking for this is it! Wish we had more time to extend our stay.

Comfortable surprise with an amazing view
We had the most amazing view from our room and balcony. It was not what I expected at all - so many things in the room that we never had to leave! Spa bath, microwave, fridge, outdoor area all to ourselves. It was a lovely end to our car trip that day. So quirky and so comfortable!

The view was nice ; the reviews containing. the word “quirky” certainly weren’t joking , the heater didn’t work properly and area to heat was huge as manly glass all around , , the “spa bath” / shower was the only place to shower (with out a curtain to avoid splashes )and situated in the middle of the room.:and wasn’t very inviting .: The “free continental breakfast “ was a bit of a joke and could hardly be called that , the free wifi did not work in our cabin ..maybe on a hot summers night it would feel better, the veranda not really safe for small children .: if it was cheaper you wouldn’t mind so much , but for $182 a night it seems disappointing ./ apart from the non working wifi it cleverly had everything it advertised , by it was deceptive as the facilities advertised usually are associated as luxury items like spa bath, and built up the expectations but the lay out and delivery of the promised items lead to disappointment :: ok for a quick stop over , but hardly the luxurious cabin you expect when booking it .

It's definitely "Rustic," The heating was somehow mismanaged and the entire place smelled of firewood... I felt like I was camping.... the smell and smoke was so bad, my eyes were burring and my clothes smelled of smoke in the morning. it was the worst sleep of my entire trip.

We felt like we were living in a tree house in the magic far away tree . We had the whole top floor . The moment we arrived we did not want to leave The view from all windows was unbelievably beautiful . The interior of the wooden house was eclectic , quirky and totally appealed to my aesthetic . Tiny treasures were all around the house .i truely loved this place

We didn’t stay here so I can’t speak for the venue or amenities or anything like that. The owners cancelled our booking on us late the night before we were meant to stay due to ‘covid’, which is fine. I do wonder whether there is a better covid policy than just flat out cancelling but atleast it was the off season and we were able to find last minute alternate accomodation.

Hi Tim, Sorry to cancel your reservation the night before your arrival. Unfortunately a routine covid test at 6:30pm returned positive for me and I am a solo operator here. I knew that you would easily find alternate accommodation as it is our regions off-peak season. If it had been a busier time of year I would have given you a list of alternative places to stay.

Loved the quirkiness this property offers together with the great ocean views. Lots of great kitsch cleverly put together to create a unique experience. Shower was in the compact side the tall and round...but we would still go back. Very dog friendly.

On a hillside overlooking 90 mile beach, we find ourselves wondering if we’re in Europe or Victoria. From the instant we arrived the the hospitality was exceptional with daily breakfast and scones from our most friendliest host, Sheree. The sounds of goats, and ocean views through figs and native trees we truly felt like the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne.

We had the romantic cabin with spa bath which would also be suitable for anyone with limited ability to climb stairs, other rooms are upstairs in the main building. Our room had eclectic decor. The TV was on an arm attached to one of the posts of the four poster bed, which was easy to knock one's head on when walking by. At night time the room had poor lighting, with the only brighter light in the toilet. Continental breakfast was ample. We were charged an extra $20 at check-in, compared to the amount shown on the Hotels.com booking. When I queried the higher amount I was advised it was a Cleaning Surcharge that didn't show on the Hotels.com website. This left a sour note on an otherwise pleasant stay.

We just loved the Goat&Goose. Exceeded our expectations, Sheree was amazing, personable, friendly and went out of her way to ensure we were happy. The Goat and Goose B&B is an excellent little gem at Lakes Entrance. Our unit was self contained and while attached, was separated from the main building. We had a nice large deck with stunning ocean views. The room/unit is cosy with a large spa, queen? sized bed and brilliant bay window. The small table is perfect for two to have breakfast. Sheree (the host) is very friendly and there is a common area in the main house for those inclined. We had our medium dog with us and he loved the close garden walks and the balcony.

The ambience and the view. The property is unique and classy. You feel like you are starting in your own home. The view is mesmerising, even at nighttime. They provide free binoculars to watch the sea too.
