"Lovely hotel - reception area, bar and restaurant and room were newly renovated to an excellent standard. Only complaint is the room walls were quite thin so I could hear the room next door. Facilities (spa and leisure centre) are currently undergoing refurbishment so were not open during my stay but this was reflected in the price. Would highly recommend for a business or leisure stay. "

"We had a good stay with a quiet room, good breakfast and comfortable lounge and bar area to relax in food was very good and the price of the room etc was very good value, we are booked in again for later in the year and will base our plans for visiting this part of Gods own county in the coming years on the Old stone trough hotel !!!!"

"Friendly greeting on checking in, lovely large room, very clean and tidy with tea, coffee making facilities, also ironing board and hairdryer. Bathroom exceptional, beautifully tiled with shower and plenty of towels. Shower cap, soap etc all provided. Large TV and very comfortable bed/bed linen."
