I liked the location was close to the venue I was going to. I didn’t like the amount of homeless people begging for money as I walked to and from the venue. I didn’t like that I got scammed. I paid for a newly renovated room and was given an older room.

I chose to stay at the strat cause it was cheaper than the other resorts. Big mistake. Got in and found a booger on my pillow. Tried to call to ask for a new pillow and they couldnt be bothered to answer the phone. Their bartenders are good except for the white russian man who charged my for my bare vodka shots while i was gambling the first night while i was tipping him. Reported it to the hotel and they wouldnt do a dang thing despite it being every places rule to give free drinks while gambling. Id love a refund but these pepple dont give a dang. The dining was good at the cafe and excellent at chi. The steakhouse screwed up a prime rib and the clam chowder tasted ashy somehow like what the heck? Also while dining there my card was declined so i had to go to the atm to pay and tip them out. I reminded the front desk man i was already there and he greeted me with a very petty "YEAH WE KNOW!" No hot tub at the pool. Rides were shut down a few nights of my stay. Wifi terrible. Will never waste my money here again.

Ridiculously over-priced for sub-par accommodations. The bathroom was a sliding barn door with huge gaps and no privacy. Someone in the shower or using the restroom was fully visible to anyone in the room. They don't offer a hair dryer, not even if you call down for one, and they suggested I purchase one at a nearby Walgreens and return it. The area immediately around the hotel is SUPER sketchy. I only stayed here because it was close proximity to a concert, I would never ever ever stay here again.

I was looking for a functional place to stay near an event I was going to, not an elaborate hotel nor a luxury weekend, but sheesh! The overwhelming smell of smoke permeates every part of the lobby, casino, hallways, and even our room- something that Ive never experienced at a Vegas hotel. A rainstorm had moved through just before we got to the hotel and the roof inside the check-in area was leaking severely all over the tile floor. Judging by the state of the ceiling and wall, the leak was not new. After the self-check-in computer completely failed to read the reservation barcode on my phone we got in line for counter check in. 15 minutes into our wait in line, one of the tellers began to check in people that hadnt even waited in line. Finally got checked in with no further complaint. The room itself seemed fairly clean, but the underside of the toilet seat (yes, Im a guy) was filthy. The A/C unit in the room sounded like a small cement mixer and barely worked at all. I set the A/C to 62 and to run continuously, and seriously doubt it ever got under 76 degrees in that room! My Girlfriend said it was too hot to sleep and she is ALWAYS cold!! Fortunately it wasnt summer time or even very warm outside! I had stayed here decades ago while working a project nearby for two weeks and it had been completely decent. It seems like they arent spending enough to maintain this place.

First off when we checked in the gentleman checking us in was not friendly. He barely said one word to us. Our room was HOT our entire stay. It smelled of weed and cigarettes. The entire facility smelled of weed and cigarettes. We visited other casinos that had a slight smell of both but not so bad that I coughed the entire time we were in the facility. Parking was outrageous and the attendants were rude. There were people hounding us every time we walked in and out to the parking garage asking if we wanted “free” show tickets. We will not come back. I may never come back to Vegas after this experience.

Definitely a nice hotel, so clean and comfortable. My room was so clean and the bed was so cozy. Honestly a i was impressed with the price and a little bit scared cause I saw a lot of negative reviews but in my experience everything was fine. Pool, the views from the towers, security guards around, some places to eat in the hotel and a lot of activities to do in the same place. The only thing is if you are planning to walk from this hotel to the strip is so far. But it is easy take the monorail at the sahara hotel and go to the strip, you have to walk 2 blocks.

I was told by front desk the pool was open, and when I got there it was closed for a private event. Room was dirty, floors were not vacuumed and the noise and marijuana smoke was CONSTANT! You couldn’t pay me to stay here again!

My recent stay at STRAT was deeply disappointing. Upon check-in, we were given a windowless room without prior notice. Despite my father's health issues, the staff refused to accommodate us or offer an upgrade. They even denied a refund when I offered to cancel the reservation. Expedia was of no help either. We were forced to move to another hotel, resulting in both inconvenience and financial loss. I strongly advise against staying at STRAT in the future.

This was what I expected for the money. We had one of the renovated tower rooms and it was fine. Nothing fancy at all, but it was clean and did the trick. House keeping came by everyday and was friendly. The inside of the Casio has been renovated and updated. I read a lot of reviews before booking here and a lot of them were bad. I find the most inconvenient thing about staying here is the location being at the end of the strip for hotels. But for the price savings you can easily catch an Uber to mid strip and wander around.
