We stayed at the Bellagio before staying at the Mirage and the 2 are not even comparable, even though the prices were similar. The Mirage really fell below our expectations. The rooms are really showing their age. The decor is dated and worn. The bathroom/shower light fixture was hanging out of the ceiling, there were boogers stuck to the side of the bed and there were not enough pillows. There wasn’t even a coffee maker in the room. A lot of the restaurants were closed on Tuesday which didn’t leave a lot of options to eat. We ate at the Heritage Steakhouse which was pretty expensive but food was just ok. My $65 steak was over cooked but the service was superb. The cigarette smoke on the casino floor was pretty overwhelming at times whereas at the Belaggio, you could barely smell it.
In my personal opinion, I would stay elsewhere.
